Odd Eggs

This is a range of eggs I got from my coturnix quail today. Thought I'd share =)
Smallest is from a hen that's probably 4 month but probably not had any eggs till now. In the middle is what I consider a normal size quail egg. And on the right is an extra long egg from one of the hens that is over a year old. I haven't opened this egg yet but I am thinking there might be two yolks there.

AAA battery for comparison.

That most definitely is a double yolker!

Pretty eggs. One of my chickens once left me with a soft shelled egg! Weird xD
 
New layers or birds coming back from a molt or stress related stop will always lay some odd balls. I've seen them range all the way from about twice the size of a pea up to 25 gram double yolkers.
