Two of my girls,(both standard Brahmas) are loosing feathers on their necks, just below their heads not all the way down to their breasts. It is just a 2 inch or so wide area starting in the front, one has almost worked all the way around, the other is just noticeable. They both seem energetic and otherwise well. I don't believe this to be dominate pecking by others, and I have checked them for parasites. the worst of the two does have a slight crust in dime sized spots, but not bloody or oozing. I have looked at other internet sources, but I am not finding anything like this yet. Any leads would be appreciated.

Sounds like rooster damage. He pulls the feathers on her neck to try and maintain his balance.

So first thing, do you have a rooster?

No rooster here. I did further reading and I am treating for mites. Changed all the litter and did a thorough cleaning today after work. I guess I will know more in~ 10 days?

I am having the same problem with one of my chicks. I don't have a rooster either. I saw a different post that recommended more protein, such as calf manna. I think I'm going to try that. Thanks for posting, I was going to, but you beat me to it!
