Odd Feathers

This Roo is about 9 weeks old. His feathers have looked scraggly since he hit his ugly teenage faze and hasn’t changed since. He is with a hen of the same age and her feathers look normal. He is supposed to be a silver laced wyandotte. Just wondering if something could be going on to make his feathers look like that, I have checked for mites and seen none.

Where are they being kept?
Do you have photos of the pullet with him?

What do you feed, including treats?

Any lice/mites?

I'd watch to see if the pullet is plucking/nipping at his feathers.

It wouldn't hurt to give him a direct oral dose of Poultry Cell twice a week at a rate of 1cc per 3lbs of weight.
