I saw an ad on Craigslist where someone was asking for an inexpensive coop and or laying hens - wanted to start with chickens..... I called them! I told them what I had done and read - offered that if they do want pallets that they can get some from my office for free ( I work for a lumber company - we toss 'em) and...here's the best part.....had her come to BYC while we were on the phone!
I even gave them the address of the next poultry swap nearby. I warned her that chickens are like potato chips...... She got so excited as she started seeing the site & forum topics! I warned her...... btw: I've been a chicken owner for 6 whole weeks....
Hope we see them soon - sounded nice.... I guess I'm just loving it so much......had to pass it on!
