I got two chicks this spring to incorporate with my other two year-old hens. One of those now pullets is bigger than all the other 3 chickens now! Taller, more muscular. We really thought she was a roo! Anyway she gets picked on a lot despite her size and as of a couple weeks ago she started sleeping in the nesting box alone. I started closing that off after laying was done in the afternoon but she still wont sleep on the roost. Every night we go out and check the coop and she's sitting on the floor or walking around in the dark. There is room for her right next to the pullet she came to us with- they are buddies so I don't know what the problem is! She is a very happy beautiful chicken, no sign of health issues. She appeared to be a Blue Andalusian but she lays blue/grey eggs every single day which is impressive, and not typical of that breed. So anyway we don't know what she is... or why she wont roost. She was roosting for months before with no issue. Any tips on getting a chicken back in that habit?

Always hard to watch them get their hierarchy in order. A chicken not wanting to even go into the coop or a chicken sleeping alone is pretty common for a chicken that is being picked on and bullied. If she is even going into the coop it must not be that bad. But bad enough that whenever she gets on the roost they must bully her off.

What are the dimensions of the coop? You say there is "enough room" for the hen is that 3 more feet? or is that 8 more inches for her to squeeze in? Are there two roosts or just one? It isn't surprising to me if she is bottom hierarchy that she is being forced off the roost, especially as she starts to get bigger and bigger and roost room gets smaller.

There's room for her but is there room to fly up?
12" of roost length per bird gives them some 'extra' room to fly up(if needed) and shuffle for position.

Any photos of your coop and roost set up?
Yes, pics please @Genisis
