Just an odd question (what else would you expect from me?). When YOU get your allergies in a tizzy, do you ever run a fever? Someone at work told me (as they coughed all over me) that they are having issues with their allergies. She then told me that she sometimes runs a fever with her allergy attacks.

Is it possible?

My daughters and niece do almost every single time. It's because of all the inflammation and sometimes due to sinus infection from allergies. No worries hun

It's normal for some people.

Fevers only occur when allergies cause a secondary infection.

I finally broke down and got the Z-pack from a doctor.

I hope it works... I've been down with this cough and sinus infection for weeks!

Unfortunately...I'm gonna have to bash a head in tomorrow.

I am now running a fever and have been coughing since 5:03PM last night. I'm only allergic to 3 things. One of which will kill me.

Peppermint (death candy)
Mold

Feathers.

I'm not happy. I realize she had to come to work, but daggumit, why did she have to cough on ME!

I have an epi-pen for it.

I cannot chew peppermint gum, candy, anything flavored with peppermint oil. If I use soap or a hair shampoo/conditioner, I start itching and sneezing. It seems as long as it is on the skin it doesn't cause as many problems, but if I am near someone who is chewing peppermint gum, I have to hold my breath and walk away because it makes me cough and makes my throat feel like it's on fire. If I use toothpaste that has been flavored with peppermint, it takes awhile (days sometimes) but I get all stopped up and have ridiculous sinus pressure and pain. Don't even THINK about me eating a peppermint.

I've only met one other person who's allergic to peppermint, I know there's gotta be more out there?

As Chris on Everybody Hates Chris says, use a brick on that head. Or have alot of fun with them, and in a few days, tell them that they infected you with h1n1 or something. Teach them the hard way to cover that mouth!

I am just terribly allergic to Nickel. I will break out in red hives in the affected area and get liquid filled blister. My skin swells up and gets terriblt itchy. So i dont wear any watched and just a few selected pieces of jewelry. I tape of buttons on jeans or paint over them with nail polish to avoid skin contact with the metal.
Funny thing one soldier i used to know is allergic to THC and another one to off all things BEER.
