Odd Question Regarding Allergies

Can not recall ever getting a fever with my allergies.I suppose it is possible, but with a secondary infection I would think.

Her immune system might be out of wack and attacking itself if that oven(as the kids call fevers) is being turned on.

I see you are sick now.Speedy healings!Sometimes sambucol nips things for me.If not then I just take theraflu till it passes in addition to the sambucol.

Is 101.5 considered a low grade fever? My normal body temp is 96.5*F.

I'm taking Aleve, Benadryl and off-brand cough syrup. That'll have to do for the time being.

Thanks for the responses and suggestions!

yes. 101.5 is a substantial fever. You don't really worry till it gets around 103.

Get a Z-pack. Mine is working.... after a 5 weeks of coughing.

Went to the CareExpress in Wal-Mart on my break last night. I couldn't breathe and they had to "wake me up" with smelling salts. Apparently I went over to the care express, said "Help" and that was it. I woke up and they got me a Z-pack, inhaler, cough medicine and a steroid shot to help the inflammation in my throat.

She's worried I have asthma but I've never been diagnosed with it...ever. I've increased my water, juice, gatorade intake and have tried to eat...but in 3 days I've lost 7 lbs. I can't seem to keep my weight steady. It's not a huge deal since I'm trying to lose weight anyway...but still unnerving.

The inhaler helped within 15 minutes and I could breathe. My fever is still in the 101s, but other than that, no changes. Still have no idea what it is...
