Odd shaped eggs from an older hen?

I know that pullets will lay some odd eggs until their egg laying 'machinery' gets going. But will an older hen, after going through a molt, do the same thing? I am getting some pretty long eggs and think they are coming from one of my older hens. I do have two Sussex pullets who may have started laying, though. I just thought their eggs would be more pinkish-beige than khaki-tan.

I have some hens going on 2 1/2 years old, and I get elongated eggs almost like torpedo shaped...kinda frustrating as they wont fit in a carton to sell them, so we save those ones for ourselves....I like the wrinkled ones too as you will get from older hens...helps me tell the difference of who is laying what...
