Yes, totally normal. That's the classic chick trick they all come out the the egg knowing how to do - sprawl out and look dead to scare the human. :jumpy
 
My chicks still do that at six weeks. It's adorable.
I still have to keep waking them up to check they're ok. But yeah. It's perfectly normal.

We just got our chicks a few days ago. I thought the same thing a couple times but then they hop up and immediately run around 😂
