So, my boys spotted three babies on the side of the road on Mother's Day. One wouldn't eat and didn't make it. It was the same size as the gold baby pictured, but black in color. The "twins" had feathered feet, and were only slightly larger than the oddball. Of the two survivors, one is growing but the other doesn't seem to be. I've been told that it looks like a game hen, that it's a bantam rooster, and my middle child suspected it to be a bald eagle. I don't have any idea what it is, and am not sure how to distinguish males from females. Since the three were found together, I assume they're the same age. No idea how old that would be, though. These pics were taken today. Any suggestions?
