Oddest Mother's day gift...

My 12 year old son gave me my mother's day gift today. A day early, I told him he could wait and give it to me tomorrow.
He wanted to give it to me today.

Okay, I look in the gift bag, and pull out a box. I clear box from the pet store--that contained crickets.
He got me a box of 24 live crickets. YEP, crickets!

I bet I am the first to get that item for a gift. He thought my 15 girls would like them, oh and theeeeyyyyy DID!

My sweet silly Matthew. He also bought a bunch of parsley for Mother's day for his Grand Champion Show rabbit Ginger. She became a mama on Monday to 5 baby bunnies.

But crickets?? really!

That is so much more memorable than flowers or candy or all the other typical Mother's Day gifts. It's the gift you'll always remember - and it shows he really thought about what would mean the most to you. I wish someone would give me some crickets!
