Nope, not buff. Horton is the rooster and he's white and frizzled. The hens are white and red. Like 60% of the chicks I've hatched from them have been partridge, and the rest white or black.

Very weird. I hatched the first white ones last hatch. I had two whitish ones with silver on their backs. One of my friends got two of the partridge ones and they are so pretty. More of a orangish color than other partridge I've seen.
