OE Banty Roo with Purple comb.....

We have 2 OE Bantam Roo's... one is doing great, the other seems fine, but his comb is turning a dark purple...

He hasn't been outdoors or exposed to the cold...

What would cause this?
Could it just be bruising ... maybe someone grabbed his comb???

hows he act when you get near him. does he act scared?

No-- He's a "Mommas Boy"... he HAS been staying up on the highest perches to keep away from the larger hens & Roo's...
but flies to me when I come in the coop.....

I've always been told that purple combs mean 'lack of airflow.' (Lack of oxygen, basically.) Not sure what to do about it, though.
