The first was Edwin Megargee’s Cochins who passed in 1958. The rest are Diane Jacky’s who still has a website. I hope she still has those drawings. Someone from the OEGB Facebook group thankfully took photos or screen shots of when Ideal still had so many varieties. I think at one point I counted at least 60.

I put together this reference page to help identify the colors of my assorted oegbs that I got from Ideal last week. I can't attach it as a document but here are pics of each page. The pictures come from Ideal's website.

Ideal Poultry used to use these images on their website. They also had them on a poster but I can't find the poster available anywhere now and I'm kicking myself for not getting one when I had the chance!!!
