I recently bought two pairs of OEGB and am looking to get into showing (but also playing with color genetics. I sold one rooster, so I now have a trio of a rooster, a hen (just started laying) and a pullet. I was talking to the guy that I sold the other rooster to and (of the hen and rooster) he said that the hen is show quality for a rooster and the rooster is a good show type for a hen. Now, I do have the APA SOP but I am still trying to pick out what it says in the book and SEE it on the birds (which I realize from horses comes from experience) and figure out what he meant by what he said. Id like to see what ya'll think. I don't know if Ill show this year but im not opposed to trying it out.
