Of all places to go broody!

Mine decided to take up her nursery in the rabbit house. At least it's clean though. I gave her 3 fertile eggs this time arounds though since she's broody more often than not.

I have a bantam that fly's out of a 6ft fence and go's and lays an egg in a bag of chick food. Chickens never learn.

You'd think they'd be picky about where to hatch chicks.

I have a broodie that went broodie in the nest box but it is not convientient for me . The other hens interfer. I moved her to a cat catray and she refused it but when I put in her reg. nest she has accepted it. Scott is sending me some eggs. yeah I will be part of the delaware girls too,
Wish me luck on Mon with the dels and rocks, Gloria Jean

They are not picky at all!!!! And they are meaner than a junk yard dog (singing the song!). HAHAHA!!!!

Yea...she is by far the nastiest broody I have had. My other two were fussy, but not vicious. This one, however....well, lets just say she probably won't be getting egg donations since I have yet to see anyone go near her.

I'm not sure if I read this on this forum or my other chicken forum but the funniest place that I heard of a bantam going broody was in the hollow of the hip bone of a cow
