Eclipse tensed, frozen in place as she watched the interaction between the two humans. She didn't understand anything they were saying, but the tone in Tobias' voice sounded threatening. She stood up slowly, the spines on her back rising as she tensely paced forward to stand behind Tobias. She glanced at Shrike, Kapok, and the Mudwing expectantly before lowering her head to Tobias' level.
"If they attack us, there isn't much I can do. That dragon--I don't know if it's a Leafwing or Rainwing--he could have venom, and my warping is practically useless." She murmured, quiet enough so the other two couldn't hear.

Jabez saw his partner turn around and smile, he saw the stranger gesture him in. Hope this isn't a trap.

Nic smiled, followed Tobias into the cage, looked carefully at the dragons and turned to face Tobias. " As I said, this dragon and I am part of a Resistance. We came to save some dragons, including yours. You need to help us figure out an escape plan. If you don't belive me, look at this." He rolled up his sleeve to reveal a tattoo on his wrist, a jet of flames and a sword crossed together. A sign of the resistance. "Now, are you in?" he absent-mindedly fingered the knife on his hip, looked at the dragons, then stared at Tobias.

Jabez shuffled closer to the dragons, he tried to communicate by looks that he wasn't going to hurt them, Sat down and looked at the humans.

“She got away, I don’t know where to or for how long, sorry.” Helios replied.

Crest shut his eyes tight and felt a pain stab at his heart. They could have easily found her again. She probably didn't make it. He fought back a tear as the image of his sister came to mind. I tried, Minami...I'm sorry. I couldn't save her either. He shook his head, pushing the thoughts back. Crest, this is no time to be getting sentimental. For all you know, she could have survived. But, you're not gonna do any good for her in here. You have to figure out how to get out of this place. His vision clouded, not as bad as before, but it still clouded some. That water was not enough for me. He looked around and swallowed hard. "Gosh it's hot out here," he mumbled to himself. He could already feel the water that he had drunk getting seeped away from the heat in the air. Forcing his vision to focus, he looked up at the king again. "No...no it's not your fault, Highness." He forced a small smile, "Thank you for the information that you did give."
He sighed, pushing all the thoughts of the girl and Minami from his mind. "So, Your Highness, do you have any kind of plan of how to get out of here?"

Seeing the nod from the others, Alyssia took a quick glance at Apple to make sure she was ready to translate. She took a deep breath, adrenaline beginning to pump through her from the excitement. "Alright! So, from everything that I've been told and what I know about these kinds of places, I've put together a sort of....plan. With the help of these new dragons, I believe we can infiltrate quite easily. So, what we'll do is this. We'll find a guard near the outside of the Scorpion Den, and, with the help of the Apple and Bamboo's camouflage, we could sneak in just enough into it to capture a guard. Then, using the guard - aka threatening him to help us - we'll have him get us inside and we will act undercover. Using you 4 as the dragons "we own" we'll go into the Scorpion Den and buy the others as they are auctioned off. If we can buy them, then we can just be on our way."
She looked over at Whitestar and Blackout to see if what Apple was translating was correct and by the looks she got, she assumed that she was translating just fine.
"The only other thing," she continued, "is I need to know whether there are any wealthy people brand new to the Scorpion Den that no one has really seen yet. If we can capture them, then I can pose as one of them and we can get into the Scorpion Den without people suspecting us."
She looked at all of them, "Now, I know you probably don't like the idea of having to act like you're "owned" by me, but it's the only way to do it. Once we're inside, we can work on buying the others and creating our plan to get out, which should just be to leave the city and make our way to any of the kingdoms."
She waited expectantly for there reply to her plan. There were a couple of gray areas here and there, but she figured that she would figure those out when she came to it. On the run planning was something she enjoyed a lot. Keeps me on my toes, she thought.
She turned towards Blackout, "Did you hear of any new wealthy people coming to the Scorpion Den anytime soon?"

Whitestar nodded at Alyssia as Apple translated her words. He glanced over at Blackout and noticed his expression darken. The Nightwing looked lost in thought, and Whitestar could only figure it was something of the Scorpion Den, or perhaps the recent battle. Maybe both.
"We will fix all of this," he said quietly to Blackout. "Don't let yourself get dragged into the guilt, or you will never find the strength to overcome it and do the right thing. What's passed is passed. We all have our darkside. But you can't let it take over you."
