Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

(When he wakes up all his weapons are gonna be just reminiscence of sand XD )

Whitestar crouched helplessly over Alyssia, panic spreading over his scales. The tiny human barely seemed to be conscious and her entire arm was covered in thick, crimson blood. The greenery trembled and then broke as Apple and Bamboo bounded quickly into the clearing around the pool.
I should just use it. This is an emergency.
His thoughts spun and swirled in his head like an icy whirlpool, panic sending his thoughts into a messy spiral.
But there are other dragons here. He watched Blackout descend into the clearing with them, clutching an important-looking human in his talons.
I can't trust them. What would they do if they found out what I am capable of? How much would a human pay for an animus dragon? I still don't know for sure if Blackout is really turning his back on the Den. Worse--what if one of them somehow got to the Queen? What would she do?
Whitestar stared at Alyssia's pale form, the blood staining the grass.
What if she dies because I am too much of a coward to do something about it?
He clutched his head with a low growl of frustration.
"Apple, is there anything you can do?"
Apple and Bamboo rushed up to Alyssia, Bamboo standing back a little and watching concernedly as Apple placed a talon behind Alyssia, lifting her up slightly into a sitting position. She bent her head close and inhaled, smelling blood immediately. Her scales began appearing lime green at the edges. Fear was painting a scene on her scales, and since she couldn't control it perfectly yet, it was probably all too evident to everyone else that she was afraid right now.
Apple snapped out of her mental trance and began commanding the situation. "Someone bring me moss or anything that can soak up liquid. I'll need some help; Bamboo, get water and bring it to me in an extremely large cupped leaf. I'll need some strong leaves as well."
She pointed her head at where she knew Whitestar was. "Whitestar, I need a little bit of ice. In case anything goes wrong and we have to cool her body temperature down quickly, I'll need some close by." She said decisively, shuffling to the side as Bamboo came back to her side quickly with water.
Bamboo was serious again. It was life or death for this poor human, and he placed the large water-filled leaf down on the ground. "What can I do?" He asked, with a sure edge to his voice.
"Pick her up and gently place her in the leaf. Keep her head above water. Keep her in there for only a few seconds, make sure some of the blood is rinsed off her body so that I can figure things out more."
Bamboo tapped her twice on the talon.
Yep.
He did as instructed, hoping everything would be okay... but with his sister controlling things, he knew there wasn't too much to be afraid of.
He glanced over at Whitestar. There seemed to be a war in his expressions, and he was standing still for a second, not having done what Apple said.
"Whitestar!" He snapped, an extremely rare annoyance creeping into his usually bubbly demeanor. "Do what my sister told you, she knows what she's doing!"
From the look on Whitestar's face, he had misread the situation. Whitestar wasn't doubting Apple's ability, he was mentally arguing with himself.
He looked away. "Sorry. What I meant is; do whatever you know will be best for Alyssia. If that's something you know we don't, then do it. But if it's what Apple needs, please help us."
Apple brushed her tail against Bamboo's, and he took a deep breath. Her unspoken chiding was right; arguing wouldn't help.

sorry guys, work is taking a lot of time and i'm rly tired when i get back! i'll try to be more active, it's hard lately as well bc writers block is rly rly bad. I don't have the same ideas and stuff abt writing, I feel like my writing is struggling, so it makes it harder to write at all.

If blackout is needed, rn he's concernedly watching from the sides as he stands guard over Austin. y'all can control him slightly, no huge actions plz but if you need him atm, you can have him do what is needed to further things til I get back in abt four hours; so y'all have four hours to control blackout!! but no more.... or i'll tackle you 😈 😈 😈 😈

It's totally fine, I went through writer's block for like a full year after some... difficult, events. I hope you get enough rest and I'm sorry about nagging you if I was. I just wanted to make sure you were okay and not going through hard life stuff or something. I get that work is exhausting.
I gotta edit Whitestar's last part real quick because I think I jumped the gun a little bit.

Crest stayed silent after the king's comment, seeing him lost in his thoughts. His attention was diverted towards some humans rummaging in boxes. Oh no. They brought the electric spears and a metal object. Crest tensed as they approached the king with the objects. They wouldn't dare attack the king with those! He grabbed his cage with one of his claws, ready to pounce into action. The king was way ahead of him and the fiery flew out of the cage and tried to take out some of the people.
Crest's heart skipped a beat as he listened to the remark about Helios fighting. Bloodmoon...I've heard of him.
"King Helios!" Crest said trying to get his attention. He was cut off by the human's device. "Bloodmoon's gone...and (owners name) is dead..." the human with the device informed his cohorts. Crest breathed out a sigh of relief.
Helios's fiery gaze turned towards Crest, "That's not good is it?"
Crest answered, the relief evident in his voice. "No, your highness, it wasn't good. You were apparently scheduled to fight Bloodmoon. I've heard of him. Very dangerous and ruthless dragon. But, it seems that he is gone, so that's good for now."
Another human walked into the room, a small grin on his face. Crest had chills down his back at the sight of him. He went over to the group of humans and gestured towards Helios. "The people still want to see the grand solarwing king fight, so we are still going to have him fight, but it will be against a different dragon." Anger welled up in Crest at their brutality towards a royal dragon. He glared daggers at the man as he looked towards the seawing. He walked closer to Crest's cage and grinned evilly. "Oh, don't give me that look, seawing. If you want at least a little water before your fight with the solarwing king, I suggest that you be nicer to me."
The aqua blue eyes went wide and Crest backed up slightly in his cage. He looked over to the king, terror on his face. I'm supposed to fight the Solarwing king!
"I can't fight him," he said in human. "I'm not strong enough."
The man laughed, "Oh we know that. That's why we're giving you some water before the fight." He chuckled again, "Though if he were to obliterate you, I'm sure the crowd would love that too." Crest growled loudly and lunged forward trying to scare the man off, but the man didn't flinch. He simply smiled and turned towards the group, "Take the solarwing and inject him with half of the solar-returning serum. We want him at almost full capacity for the fight." He looked back at the seawing, "Take this one to get some water. But, only as much as he needs to...shall we way...function." He walked away and the others got to work. They hauled the cages up and began taking them away to their respective places.
He took one last look at the king, translating what had just happened. "King Helios, we're going to fight each other in the ring and they're taking you to get your powers back and...."
They both went their separate ways and he couldn't see the king or tell him anything more. Crest, this is why you don't get close to dragons. You'll never know when something like this will happen....
“Oh blazes, blazes!” He cursed, ramming himself into the cage wall. “I can’t fight him, I won’t
fight him.” He told himself. But the humans had a different idea. They wheeled him away and Crest soon was out of sight. A long stick held by the humans shot something straight into his scales. A needle fell from him as he shook it off. whipping his tail around, he batted the needle away and it nearly impaled a nearby human. Suddenly he could feel his fire reigniting inside him, slowly but surely. “You foolish pests! When I find him and get out of here, you’ll be sorry you were ever born.” He shouted, his firey eyes staring straight into the lead humans. He snarled low and deep.
“looks like you’re ready for a fight, King Helios.” The human said with mock respect.

Tobias met her gaze, then looked back to Monzy. "Hey, I'll help her, Cuz, Eclipse can help too. That way you lot can keep planning. We'll follow the leader."
Monzy nodded his sqaure head, tossing Tobias a small, round canister shaped like a hockey puck. Tobias caught it, glancing at the label, then shoving it into his pocket.
"Eclipse must be careful." Roe warned. "Most of The Den will be overrun with humans for tonight, but there will be a scattered few left of the streets. You will attract many gazes."
A jingling sound brought Tobias' attention to Gables, who offered a key ring. Tobias reached for the keys, and Gables dropped them into his hand, "To my truck. A couple buildings down from Rose. Rusted out, gray Silverado." He explained in a deeply accented voice.
"D'yuh 'ave a gun, mate?" Monzy asked, and Tobias nodded quickly.
"Yes, I'm all set. You good with this, Eclipse?"
Rose watched the silver dragoness with respect and curiosity. Her purple eyes and dark scales stood out among the crowd, but not as much as the beauty of this dragoness. “It’s an honor to have one of the fabled Lunarwings among us, truly.”
@Harmonylight @Yukiko

@Crestcrazy2 do you know why Lydia hasn't been as active? I know she's got work and stuff now that you guys are graduated. I just want to make sure everything is alright
What she said lol

Whitestar jolted at Bamboo's sharp words, yanking himself back to the present. Ice... his mind took a moment to come around. Shoot--ice. Right. He turned back toward the pool and limped quickly down the sandy bank. He bent his head down to the water, blasting ice over the top of the pool and freezing the surface. He slammed a talon down on the ice, shattering the crystalline surface with a large splash. Whitestar scooped a talon full of the thick glassy crystals and carried them awkwardly back to where Apple and Bamboo were. He carefully set them down on the grass, looking down at Alyssia with a pang of worry. He glanced at Apple and then over his shoulder at Bamboo.
I can't tell them. But there has to be a way to help Alyssia. I have to do something...
He carefully shifted closer to Apple, his heart pounding as he ducked his head to whisper to her so no one else could hear.
"I think there is something I could do to help... if you think you've got this though, I don't need to..." he trailed off, taking a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart.
What am I doing? No one can know, no matter how innocent this Rainwing is. There is always some risk.
Whitestar stared at Alyssia. But this is an emergency. He pressed a cold talon against his head. Eclipse, I wish you were here now.

Eclipse turned in surprise as the Nightwing--no. Leafwing?--spoke. At first glance, the dragon was dark enough to be a Nightwing, but her wings were more leaf-shaped and dark green, almost black. Up close, Eclipse could see she was actually a glossy, dark-grown, like dark oak wood, with lighter highlights. She almost looked like a perfectly carved wooden sculpture.
Eclipse dipped her head politely to the dragoness. "And I am honored to be among others who are willing to fight for our freedom. My name is Eclipse," she gave the dark dragon a small smile.
