Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Eclipse felt her shoulders droop slightly. "It's nothing I just," she looked away. "I just wanted to talk to him. I needed to ask hi-" She broke away as Vel began calling the rebellion together. Monzy strode away toward the center of the lot and Eclipse followed, veering off to stand behind Tobias. She listened, completely lost as Roe began counting off instructions to other groups, and then finally, Eclipse's group started to move.
Eclipse quickly followed, pacing beside Tobias. "Shrike, Kapok, and Dred are in the team rally right?"
Kapok gave Tobias a small grin, cocking his head at the human somewhat inquiringly. Eclipse slid around him and fell in pace with Tobias, muttering something Kapok didn't quite catch. The Lunarwing was awfully strange to him--he'd never even thought such a dragon could possibly exist. He just wished that she wasn't always on edge with Tobias, and that the human could learn to understand her defiance. She had never been in the Scorpion Den before, and she'd only been there for a few days. It was normal for dragons to be snappy or aggressive during that time. If only Tobias could see that.
“Ready, Mr. Tobias. Is this a kill fight?” He asked, not sure if that was an appropriate question or not. His wings had been unclipped and his fire had returned in full force, leaving him feeling the best he had in months. Long swirling red tattoos trailed down his body, making him even more intimidating then other Mudwings. His huge size meant he was the only dragon other then Kapok that Tobias had bought for strength and muscle, and he wouldn’t let him down.
Strangely, he felt an urge to protect the smaller (not by a whole bunch lol) dragons around him, his Bigwings instincts kicking in, not for the first time.
"Yess." Tobias pointed a finger gun at Dred, spinning around and rushing to the door.
He leaned closer to Eclipse. "Had to pull them. Missed the deadline." Tobias lied.
Vel leaned on the top of the door, "Here we go, Tobe." She smiled cunningly, her tongue flicking between teeth.
Tobias arched his brow, smirking. "Here we go, Vel."
He stepped through the doorway.
Tobias looked up slowly, swallowing hard. "Here we go."

@Crestcrazy2 , Can Rose offer the drug to Bloodmoon now? I just want to rp... I'm borrrrrrreeeeeeeeedddddddddd
Uhm. Just say that already happened. We're pretty far in. He can tag along in Tobe's (Ferrin) group. Have him strike up a combo with someone.

Next step is freeing dragons. That's what Ferrin's group is doing, they're a bit of everywhere, mostly backup.
Ferrin's group consists of:
Rose
Tobe
Gables (Tam)
Ferrin
Shrike
Kapok
Dred
Eclipse
And then the others will be in Group B.

Sorry, I grazed through a lot of the posts.

Eclipse fell behind Tobias as he exited the lot, staring silently at the human's back. Something wasn't right about him. Maybe he was still somewhat affected by, as Rose had said, being "drunk". But she couldn't be sure if that was it, or if something else was going on. She quickly picked up her pace, once again falling into step beside him. She was silent for a moment before finally letting out a heavy sigh.
"Look," she started, keeping her voice low. "Tobias, I know you don't trust me. And I'm not sure if it's always been that way, or if you are still upset about my warping. The thing is, I don't see why you would be. I didn't get it back because I want to kill anyone. If I wanted to hurt you I would have done it a long time ago." She gave a small amused snort. "I did it because I want to feel like I have some control over everything going on--I want to feel like there is something I can do. And I want to let you know, that even though you make it very hard, I am deciding to trust you. Three moons, it's hard, but I am because I know that we won't be able to pull this off if I don't. That also means that I need you to trust me." She leveled her gaze on the human, waiting patiently for his response.

Rose approached a large, dark red nightwing and made eye contact. “Hello, I’m Rose. You’re going to need these if you want to have a chance at escaping.”
She said, holding out a couple syringes full of the antidote and serum.

(Oh it is a death match? I thought it was just team fighting against other team…)

Dred rubbed the spot where Mr. Tobias had given him the shot earlier, (let’s just say that happened lol) his head feeling clearer and more focused then normal and the sleepiness from so many darts over the years had drifted away.

Tobias smiled ruefully, dropping his gaze with a long sigh. "Talk later, Eclipse. Now's... Not the time."
The groups ahead split, most of them trailing off to the right towards the arena. Ferrin turned left, and Tobias followed, watching Roe stalk down the hallway ahead with confident strides, a black RainWing at her left, a chestnut, white to her right.
"Here!" Roe suddenly shouted, pointing down a hallway, her gaze still seemingly locked ahead.
"That's us." Gables nudged Tobias to the left, a large automatic gun slung across his shoulder, taking the lead. He tossed Tobias and Eclipse a small, steel card. "Master key. Get in, get out."
Gables pointed to Tobias, then the first door. "Eclipse, stick with Tobe till you get the hang of it."
Tobias rubbed the card across the scanner, hesitating as the door hissed open.

(@Nicole Taber perhaps Eclipse could take the lead. Just for a better pov.)

Eclipse stared at Tobias for a long moment, shifting her gaze away only when Gables tossed them the odd steel cards. Something was very, very off about Tobias, and it was beginning to disturb her greatly. She was starting to suspect that it wasn't just the incident with her warping collar or the argument at the lot. Should I really be trusting him? What if he betrays me? Or all of us? Is he lying?
She tried to shove the thoughts away as Tobias opened the first door and hesitated for a moment.
Whatever is wrong with him, now's not the time to worry about it. We are in the middle of a mission. I just will have to be cautious of him.
So much for trust.

Eclipse quickly slid past Tobias, pacing confidently into the lot. There were no humans inside, only a pair of cages. One held a large, bright orange Skywing, the other, a dark blue Seawing with bright, almost glowing aqua highlights.
Eclipse bounded over to the cage with the Seawing, signaling for Tobias to head to the other one. The Seawing looked worse for wear and he didn't open his eyes as she approached. Eclipse focused her attention on the scales that lined beneath her eyes, warping quickly flowing down her face and straightening in front of her into a large blade. She cocked her head slightly in concentration as the weapon violently stabbed into the metal latch and gave a massive sideways jerk. A piece of metal clattered to the ground and the warping dissolved, leaving a very misshapen and loose latch on the cage door. Eclipse swung it open quickly and took a step inside, dipping her head slightly to the Seawing's level. He still hadn't opened his eyes.
He was covered in massive bruises, a particularly large one on the side of his head. His front talons were scorched almost black, and they had blistered and bled. His scales looked dry and crusted and he had dark rings around his eyes.
Eclipse rested a talon on his shoulder, gently shaking him a little in hopes of waking him up.
"Hey," she said gently but firmly, her head bent to his level. "C'mon, wake up. We're gonna get you out of here."
More warping slid from her scales, hardening into a small knife which she carefully slid into the latch on his muzzle. Twitching it and jerking it to try and break or pick the lock. She flashed the Seawing a small, sideways smile as his eyes slowly opened and she backed up a little, still working the warping blade into the iron latch.

Whitestar glanced around the sand, his heart pounding. He didn't see the transport that had been in the center of the caravan the day before, and he heard the hunter translate Alyssia's words. There were no tracks in the sand and he assumed a breeze during the night must have blown them away. He stood there for a moment staring at the destruction of the human machines, his tail lashing in the sand before he turned back to the others.
"Apple, Bamboo," he started, his voice firm and resolved. "Split up and scan the desert in the opposite direction of the Den. If you find the limo, stop them or come back and find us." He turned to Blackout, Alyssia, and the hunter. "Blackout, you come with me. Bring him." he pointed a claw at the hunter. "Alyssia, you can ride with me again. We should stick together if we are heading for the Den, just in case things get out of hand."
He paced back toward the human and crouched next to her, lifting his talon the same way he had in the oasis to help her up.
"We have to move quickly."
