Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Eclipse stared at Tobias, feeling her heart tear. She knew they were right.
Bloodmoon was waiting anxiously for her, still holding Nicholas in his massive talons.
Eclipse hesitated another moment and then reached her neck forward, pressing her head against Tobias' chest, hoping he couldn't see the tears streaking her snout.
"Don't you dare die," she said, forcing her words into a growl to hide the trembling in her voice.
She pulled back quickly and turned toward Bloodmoon, racing up beside him.
"You know the way to the truckyard?" she said, swiping at the tears on her face, looking away. "Let's go."
Tobias took a shaky breath as she turned away. He snatched the shot gun from where he had leaned it against the wall. Roe tossed him a handful of bullet cases from her pocket, and Tobias caught a few, reloading the gun with some difficulty as bullets ricochet off the wall behind him. Roe suddenly stood, glancing at Tobias, "I have to get more clips."
"No." Tobias shoved the shot gun back into her hands, tearing the AK-47 out of her grip. "I'll do it."
Roe pressed her lips tightly together, willing to fight him on the matter, but Tobias had already leapt over the car, sliding into the hall.
He snatched one of the limp bodies lying on the floor, dragging it into hall across from Roe. He tore the man's jacket open, finding more rounds in the fold of the guards coat.

Roe glanced further out the hallway, her heart flipping when her eyes landed on Haul and Solo's bodies, side by side, both nearly unrecognizable.
This was terrible.

Bloodmoon raced to the truckyard with Eclipse. Nearly all the trucks were gone. A Solarwing stood by one of the trucks and he glanced at her. However, Eclipse acted differently.
Fracture spotted the dragons, motioning them towards the transport. "Get on!" She ordered, Owens faithfully by her side.
Most of the rebellion had cleared out, leaving just Gables, Fracture, and Owens to send off the last few trucks.

Bloodmoon looked at the humans and walked over to them. He placed Nic into his talon and "What should I do with him?" He asked.

Roe jumped as a hand gripped her shoulder.
"It's me." Ferrin warned as she wheeled around, pointing the gun at his chest.
"We need to go. Now." He ordered, pulling her back.
Roe wriggled out of his grip, shaking her head as panicked tears welled. "No- no." She chocked out. "We have to give them time to get out."
"We don't have time." Ferrin hissed.
Roe nodded. "I know." She turned back to the car.

Tobias leaned around the corner firing wildly and dropping quite a few soldiers from the new angle.
They were out numbered. They were so outnumbered. He groaned softly, replacing the magazine clip and firing off another round.
