Eclipse glanced at the Solarwing as Sunspot glided up beside her squinting. The combination of the moonlight and Eclipse's night vision made seeing over the desert easy as if in broad daylight. Maybe even easier, given how blindingly reflective the sand was mid-day.Sunspot flew beside the LunarWing, squinting in the dark. She was never up past dark because her eyesight was adapted for bright daylight, and her night vision was horrible. The moonlight helped though.
The flight to the Scorpian den was silent and somewhat awkward. It wasn't a long flight, but it was a decent distance, leaving plenty of time for the unfilled silence to grow. Eclipse tried to ignore it, focusing on scanning the dunes as they passed quickly beneath them.
