I'm posting this same message on the pm and the rp, so it will get properly seen <3 night all, thanks for your patience with me while I'm starting this job and stuff; can't wait to get back in the swing of things!!!

Crest saw the door of the transport open and he stepped out into the bright light and looked up at the cliffside. Dragons were everywhere. Some were being treated for their injuries and Crest's aching muscles told him to go over there and see if they could help him. Glancing back, he saw 3 dragons still in the transport, but he left them to themselves, making his way to a cloudwing that seemed to be giving aid to other dragons. A human stood next to the cloudwing and assisted in giving help to the dragons coming up to them. Finally, they're working together. It's about time. A smile crossed Crest's face seeing humans and dragons working together.
Limping over to them, he paused before asking them for help. There were so many dragons who needed help. I can wait. These dragons need the help more than I do. His muscles protested, but he ignored them. Crest, you wanted to be helpful. Try and find a way to be helpful. Ignoring his increasing pain, he walked over to the transport to make sure that everyone was out of it.
He just seemed to be wandering around the checkpoint. He had no idea what he should be doing. What or who are we waiting for? Looking around at the other dragons, he felt useless again.
He wandered back over to the medics and asked if he could help. He remembered a little of his first aid he was taught during his training as a soldier and wanted to use it to try and help.
"Excuse me, can I help?" Crest asked the cloudwing.
She laughed slightly while bandaging a wound from another dragon. "You want to help? Look at you! You look worse than some of the patients."
He stood up a little taller at the comment and took another step forward. "I can help. I have some experience with first aid and how to dress basic wounds. Please, I really want to help."
A human poked his head around the dragon to look at the seawing. "You want to help us huh?" He took a quick look up and down Crest with an arched eyebrow. "Very well, as long as you have experience, we're fine. Grab some bandages and start stopping the bleeding on some of the dragons," he said gesturing to a medical bag sitting near them. He grabbed the bandage and started on dragons, relieved that he was now doing something. I really have to find that girl and make it back to the Sea Kingdom. I don't know how much longer I can take not knowing what to do.

Kapok smiled at the Cloudwing. Excitement was buzzing through his veins like the sound of the cicada bugs on a summer evening. He set his hunk of meat on a large rock nearby before bounding a few paces forward and leaping into the air. The wind whipped over his scales, whispering and laughing as it hissed over his wings like a tumbling stream.
Kapok spiraled in the air, twisting sideways in long loops as he flew. Several other dragons seemed to be enjoying the freedom as well. A pair of young Skywings were chasing each other between the jagged rock formations and an older, dark blue Silkwing was watching them in amusement, basking in the warmth of a large boulder higher up the slope.
Kapok angled his wings up, catching the warm air currents and spiraling higher into the sky like a hawk. He watched the whole scene from above, unable to stop smiling.
Shrike stared after the LeafWing, grinning. The disappointment at not being able to fly felt like it was weighing his heart down, and his smile slowly dropped at he watched evenly the dragons swooping in the air. He knew the other CloudWings who’d escaped couldn’t fly either, and it was only a matter of time before they grew in new feathers, but not being able to fly on his first day of freedom felt unjust.
He sighed, eating the meat that Kapok had brought him.

@_-Captain BRM-_ where are they on the map?

😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 Uuhhhh. Where's Raptor? She's a good guy, right? I never said their exact location because I'm RPing Tobias, and no one trusted him enough to openly saw where they were headed. ✨So, mAkE iT uPPpPpp✨

Alicanto raked his gaze over the truckyard, searching for the dragons he was supposed to meet with. The idea of running a mission with other dragons made his lips curl in disgust. Why did the professor think he couldn't handle the mission alone? He'd done it for years, and a couple of fugitives weren't going to be any bit of a challenge, let alone one that required him to have to drag a couple of test projects out to the desert to stop one car. Sure, going after the rebel transports may require some help, but they weren't to that phase yet. Alicanto could handle the fugitives on his own. After all, he was the greatest mercenary in the Den.
The silver Cloudwing angled his wings, circling the truckyard again. He watched a lone car pull away from the truckyard, swinging out onto the streets of the Den and driving away.
Alicanto glanced back at the yard, trying to find any sign of the dragons. Something flickered on top of one of the empty cages, a spark of color that shimmered briefly on the air. The silver Cloudwing folded his wings in and swooped down into the truckyard, rearing back and flaring his wings to land in the center of the courtyard. He paced toward the empty cage, staring at the space where the flicker had been, hoping to spot the shape of a dragon or a glint of scales.
"When they said I was working with another dragon, I think I would have expected something more than a lazy Rain-" he broke off, stopping with one talon still lifted as the dragon shimmered into view.
This hunter was definitely not a Rainwing.

@_-Captain BRM-_
@Little Baby Bean, do you want to bring Ajax into the truckyard now?
Gen's expression remained even. He did not glare, did not move, he did not react in any way, which only added to his dull, almost robotic appearance. Maybe a hint of condescending superiority crept into his eyes.
Gen leapt silently from the cage, noiselessly taking his place at Alicanto's side.
