Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Eclipse stood a short distance from Sol, looking the Solarwing up and down for a long moment.
She could somewhat see why he had been so evasive when they'd first arrived at the checkpoint now. The prince was an absolute wreck. And that part of her mind continued to stress the fact she normally wouldn't have forced herself to keep caring.
The dragoness sighed, slowly pacing toward Sol.
"I don't really have anywhere else to go anyway," she said quietly. "I still can't fly. And I don't know any of these other dragons."
She slid up beside him, brushing her wing firmly against his, trying to offer her comfort.
"Besides. Tobias would probably kill me if I left you all by yourself like this." Eclipse gave him a wry, somewhat sarcastic smile.
"I'm staying right here."

(Why is she so freaking oblivious 😭)
Sol felt her wing push against his, and he tensed. He suddenly began to question her motives.
"Thank you, Eclipse. I'm sure... Tobias will appreciate it."

Eclipse suppressed another sigh, feeling Sol tense at her touch.
I don't get this dragon, she thought with a flicker of irritation. Are all dragons this way? Is it even worth it, trying to make friends?
Since when did you care about friends?

Eclipse turned her face away from Sol, moving her wing closer to herself again so that she was barely touching his.
She knew she wouldn't have made it out of the Den alive if she hadn't learned to trust others.
But now, suddenly, outside the Den, what really was the point of trust? Sol didn't seem to want her companionship. Or he did. Or he was picking and choosing. Honestly, it was agitating.
Why are you even bothering? This isn't worth it.
She pulled her wing the rest of the way in, awkwardly sitting beside Sol, staring at the opposite wall.

Eclipse growled loudly, curling her lip at the human as she slid past, canines glinting menacingly as she glared coldly at him.
"Sol," she called as soon as they cleared the doorway. The Lunarwing picked up her pace, sliding up beside the prince.
"Sol, you shouldn't let him just- just order you around like that. Tobias is your friend, you have every right to be in there- be with him. You don't have to..."
She tried to meet his gaze, her mind scrambling for words.
"Why did you just let him kick you out?"

Shard's eyes widened as she listened to Sunspot.
"That's not true!" she yelped, feeling sorry for the Solarwing. "Eclipse doesn't hate you. Why do you think she hates you?"
The dragonet rubbed a talon over her tiny snout, glancing back at the Sol and the Lunarwing. Another human paced into the bunker, staring down the prince from across the room.
"I don't want Tobias to die," Shard said distractedly, changing the subject. "He seems nice. Eclipse seems to like him. I think."
She looked back at Sunspot.
"Eclipse doesn't seem to hate a lot of dragons. Or people. I've never seen her hate anyone. I don't think she hates you."
She paused for a second, not entirely long enough for the Solarwing to respond.
"Has she ever hated anyone?"

Sunspot blinked at Shard. “Small dragon. I have known everyone here for only a few days. I went from living my peaceful life out alone to being here. This is ABSOLUTE MADNESS. I don’t know any of you. I don’t know if Eclipse has ever hated anyone." she huffed, a ring of smoke puffing out around her snout.

"I don't even know what im doing here," she muttered. "I should just leave."
