Eclipse tensed. She had been trying to figure out a good lie to tell the two of them since she'd woken up that morning. So far, none of them seemed too convincing. If Sunspot even suspected for one second that Eclipse wasn't telling the truth, she would never be able to hide what the real reason for being there was. Not without being forced to end their temporary alliance..
"No, we aren't heading to the Scorpion Den--that's the structure you saw," she answered Neoma first, buying a few seconds to run through her possible responses to Sunspot.
"We were headed that way last night though, before you attacked us. But it's not safe to try and sneak in, especially during the day. But I have somewhere important I have to be soon, and it's quite the trip. I don't have time to wait till tonight to try and sneak in again."
She paused for a long moment before answering Sunspot.
"I have... resources... that I need to see. Someone with inside information that can help me with this Nightwing issue. But I can only see them so often, and the location changes every time. So, I have to be there, or I may lose my contact."
Eclipse could only hope it sounded true.
“Hm.” Sunspot said suspiciously, but pressing it no further. Doesn’t seem to solid on her plan, does she? The SolarWing mused to herself. Was Eclipse lying?

Thump.
Crash...
BANG

Alyssia's eyes shot open and her head spun towards the sound of the loud noise. She could see an older wooden door. She tried to sit up, but her muscles groaned at her. She forced herself up and felt the hard floor underneath the thin blanket under her. She stood and steadied herself against the wall. Looking around, she could see sandstone walls all around her. The room had nothing in it except for the blanket she was standing on, a small pillow (if it was even large enough to be considered a pillow), and a bucket. The rest of the room was bare. Looking up, she found the source of the light. A thin window was barred and high up on the wall.
Alyssia's heart began pounding fast. She didn't know where she was. We don't have any kind of buildings on my island. She walked over to the door to try and get some answers. She reached for the handle, but felt nothing. She frantically searched for a door handle but couldn't find anything. She couldn't access the door from her side. I'm trapped! She looked around the room again, frantically searching for a way out. Panic started to overwhelm her and she sank to her knees. Tears started to well up in her eyes. No Alyssia! Don't panic! She tried to persuade herself. "You're just in a strange place...surrounded by strange things...without any of your things." she said discouraged. "No! You're gonna keep a good outlook!"
She got up determined and looked around the room again. "There's gotta be something here." She scanned the room, but there was nothing. She felt in her pockets but didn't feel her phone. "Oh, whoever did this is gonna get it." she mumbled. She went for her emergency pocket in her shoes and smiled. The cold metal of her pocket knife felt so relieving. She pulled it out and rolled it around in her hands a couple of times thinking of all the things she could accomplish with it. She went for her other shoe pocket and pulled out a packet of emergency materials she kept in a waterproof pouch. There were 4. Each pouch was only about an inch or two long, but they were tightly compact. They had gunpowder, a two foot fuse, 3 wires, and a small battery. She grinned, I'm so glad I'm always prepared.
The sound of footsteps outside the door came closer and closer. She frantically began stuffing the toys she had into her shoes again. She barely got them in before someone opened the door.
Alyssia shielded her eyes as bright light came bursting through the opening. He came in and grabbed her arm. "Hey!" She yelled. He looked back at her and she could see scars all across his face. His black eyes seemed dark and cold. She tried to jerk against his pull but stopped as soon as they got outside. Her jaw dropped as she looked around. The ground was as if the whole thing was made of the beaches on her island. The buildings looked older and the whole layout was different than anything on her island.
The heat slammed into her hard. The paradise weather of her island now gone. She was dragged through the street and into a large open area with booths lining the walls. Her eyes widened as she saw cages filled with all kinds of dragons in front of many of the rundown booths. The dragons glared at the two humans as they walked by. There were also black dragons not in cages standing guard in the clearing. She recognized there features as being similar to the ones who attacked her and that other SeaWing.
"Hey, where are you taking me!" She said still trying to yank her arm out of the man's grip. He held tight and she was forced to walk with him across the large clearing.
After several more minutes of walking, they came to a large structure. Along the way, they had picked up a black dragon that followed them all the way to the large building in front of them.
The man holding her looked back and stated simply, "If you want to live, you'll do as I say." He opened the door and they walked inside. "Don't say anything and only speak if one of the bidders actually asks you something. If you don't comply, we'll kill you on the spot."
Fear began to grip Alyssia. He dragged her through a large room filled with dragons and humans alike. She saw the eyes of many of them on her, scanning her. She caught a little of the dragonese that a white dragon spoke, "Queen Cirrus....like....very useful."
I knew I should've paid more attention in my dragonese classes, she thought. After climbing a set or two of stairs she was dragged into another room and locked inside. It was bigger. Big enough to hold a dragon. This one had a small window again with bars and a blanket on the floor. They threw her in and locked the door. She looked around, anger beginning to replace her fear. The mix began to cloud her mind, but she took a deep breath, "No, Alyssia, you will stay calm and get out of this." She looked around and felt again for her pocket knife and materials in her shoes. Anger began to take over her mind. "Fine, if you want to play this way with me, I'll play back." A mischievous twinkle in her eye. She opened her materials back and pulled out two of the 4 bags. Gunpowder and fuse. She went to the barred window and opened the gunpowder bag. Carefully, she took out the 2 foot long fuse, tied it to one of the bars, and placed it so that it would come into contact with the gunpowder. She unravled the rest of it and let it hang down. Placing it against the wall, she pulled out her pocket knife and began scraping on the wall for sparks. Minutes went by and she became more and more anxious.
Finally, a spark emerged and began swallowing the fuse. She smiled and quickly ran to the other end of the room. She swooped up the thin blanket and covered herself in the corner.
Finally, the time came, and the building shook from top to bottom with the earsplitting sound of an explosion.

Love it... I am now trying to think of how to get her to interact with Sunspot, Neoma, Helios, and Eclipse.
Hey nicole, permission to pull ur character a lil off her flying course? cause i have a feeling eclipse won't wanna investigate but neoma's gonna wanna..... soooooo.... i have a great idea if ur good with me yanking y'all off the track you're on rn *heheh* (cue mysterious/mischievous music) but if not, Neoma might turn around anyways and it might be when helios and neoma see each other or som

King flew them down to the lake, deciding doing some fishing might cheer everyone up. It certainly always made him feel happier. He spotted a few fish and dove in without hesitation, surfacing with a mouthful of perch and even a lone salmon. He motioned for either one of them to give it a try with a movement of his head, trying to lighten the mood.
Phoenix was ravenous and instantly spiraled into a dive, eyeing a school of silvery fish. She crashed into the water and flared her wings, splashing and spluttering. She quickly paddled to the shore, her feathers soaked through. She glanced up. Corvus hadn’t noticed, he was too busy giving King death eyeballs.

The drama right now is so good:lau

King hadn’t noticed Corvus, but he had watched Phoenix and couldn’t help laughing. He dropped the fish and tried to steady himself as he laughed harder, but he started tilting and eventually just plummeted into the water. He came up sputtering and still laughing, “ that was HILARIOUS!”
