Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Sunspot had to admit she was a little thrown off. “Uhhh, sorry man, I have no clue what you’re talking about. I’ve lived here my whole life. But consider my interest piqued.”

Neoma watched the large dragon. She couldn't help but smirk at Eclipse and Sunspot arguing.
Neoma's ears pricked at the idea of Sunspot being recruited into Helios's group. This could mean many things; either Neoma would have to be on her own again if Eclipse chose to be with them, it could mean her and Eclipse going on their own, or it could mean her joining and staying...
But she was still on a mission to find and hunt down Milza and Darltrax. Any little petty squabbles these others had didn't compare to Neoma's; if she had to choose between continuing with them for a strange mission and leaving for her own, she would choose herself and her own revenge every time.
Neoma waited to hear the answer, mentally testing her wings and her abilities. If there was any sign that the other two might not want to go soon, she was going to leave immediately.
Without any warning too. She didn't want them to know.
Though a part of Neoma didn't like the idea of leaving the only other Lunarwing she knew of, if it came down to them or her, it was her. Every single time. She could only hope that it wouldn't though, because if she helped them maybe they would do a favor for her in return.
It all rested on the next few moments.

Eclipse's spikes flared with annoyance. Why did this Solarwing need to know so badly who they were? Sunspot, sure, she was from the same tribe. But he had her name already, and Sunspot wasn't just gonna tell her whole life story to this dragon. Eclipse and Neoma, however, were under no obligation to share. They weren't loyal to this dragon--as their king or even their tribe. He had no business knowing.
Eclipse flicked a wing at Sunspot. "Ask her if you must. After all, she'd your tribe. As for the two of us, we have somewhere to be--or at least I do. We are just traveling together for now and settling a few debts. Now if you'll excuse us," She turned back in the direction of the coast and spread her wings, giving Neoma a "you coming?" look before glancing back at Sunspot.
"If you stay to chat I figure you'll be able to catch up with us by nightfall. We'll wait for you at the shore 'till Imperial clears the horizon. If you're not there by then, we are leaving without you."
Without waiting for a response, she launched herself into the air. She wasn't really sure if Neoma was following, and she hoped Sunspot didn't try to take this as a chance to leave. She still owed Eclipse, and though she hated admitting it to herself, she needed the Solarwing, however difficult it was to be around her.
Helios watched the lunarwing start to leave and called out. “Wait…please wait.”
The lunarwing gave a glance back and slowed the smallest amount.

“Help me, and I’ll help you….I have information you two lunars might want.” He said sincerely. “Help me free Sol, my son, and I will reward you. I promise.” He said, glancing at the Two dragons still grounded.

~~My Character Form~~
Name: Dredbog (Dred for short)
Gender: Male
Age: 31
Tribe: Mudwings
Physical appearance: Large and muscular, would have been the Bigwings of his troop if he had been raised like any other Mudwing. Has ashy grey/brown scales like that of an alligator. Blue eyes and several tattoos all over his body.
Personality: Blunt and brutally honest, loyal and funny. He can get very angry sometimes and it’s best to steer clear of him when that happens.
Backstory: (Optional) His nest was raided right after he hatched by a bunch of traders and hunters, he of course couldn’t save his siblings and was taken to a raising facility, then after he was old enough he was taken to the SD to be a fighter due to his larger size and good genetics.
His owner has so many other dragons that he’s just one of many money makers to him.

(He good? @Blue Raptor @-Kiwi- )

Sunspot was silent for a few moments, thinking. “Being vague isn’t helping your case,” she said matter if factly. “Eclipse here has a mission and it seems a good but safer and more adventurous to quest across the continent rather than toss myself into that rattlesnake pit.” She looked at Eclipse and Neoma for feedback.

@Nicole Taber
(Matty, you killed it, sister. Oh. My. Gosh.)

"Nah, I'm doing very well, thank you." Sol retorted loudly, speaking over the crowd. "Wait- aren't you that guy I obliterated a few weeks ago?" Sol squinted, cocking his head at the CloudWing. "Oh, yeah. You are. Round two, you idiot, bring it on!" He held out his wings, hyping the crowd up.
Shrike growled with sharp barred teeth, his hackles rising. “I don’t envy you, pet.” He snorted. “Yeah, you think your some sort of champion fancy boy? Workin with the humans? Think again.”
He glanced at Kapok significantly, then back at Sol.

He glanced at Kapok significantly, then back at Sol.
Sol straightened, lowering his wings and staring down the little dragon. "Yeah, I made the best of the situation I was put in, pal, unlike some."
That's what he'd been saying for years. He hated this subject. The subject questioning his loyalty to his own kind. He was here because of Tobias. Only- because of Tobias.
"I don't know where your from, or how you've been raised, but it's survival of the fittest here in the Scorpion Den, dude- and Imma go out on a limb here and say- I'm the fittest."
Sol made a pass at the CloudWing, bringing his tail around to smack the dragon upside the face.

Shrike’s head snapped up at the strike, and he clutched his bleeding chin with a hiss, jumping to the side. “Oh, spare me your humbleness sir, it’s too much!” The CloudWing faked a lunge to Sol’s left, before smacking his wings into the SolarWing’s face and biting his right shoulder.

Sol ducked back, trying to shake Shrike off, then felt a sharp pain stab into his shoulder. The SolarWing inhaled sharply, spinning back and slamming Shrike into the wall, again, again, and again. Finally the dragon lost his grip, and Sol spun suddenly, kicking the CloudWing for good measure as he retreated slowly, stealing a glance at his wounded shoulder.
Sol held his breath, trying not to appear winded. "Common little man!" He taunted in dragon, grinning, then switching back to English, "Can't TOUCH this."
He could here Tobias' barking laughter echo in the back of his mind.
The smell and sound of the Scorpion Den used to be quiet frightening when Sol first arrived. But not anymore. This was his home turf- and he used every advantage it offered.

Kapok used this moment to launch himself into the fight. He landed on top of the Solarwing from behind, grabbing a hold of his neck and flattening himself on top of him. He assumed his weight may be enough to knock the dragon to the ground.

Eclipse hesitated, glancing between the other three dragons. For once, Sunspot actually agreed with her. Eclipse felt torn. This dragon was obviously desperate, and Eclipse couldn't stop the thought from slipping into her mind. What if it was a dragon I cared about? What if it was Whitestar? I would want help from someone--anyone. No matter what tribe.
And Helios was offering to help her in return. The four of them, together, hunting the Nightwing? It felt unreal. They might be able to pull it off. And he was offering something more--information. What's more, information potentially about her tribe. It was tempting, but she was pulled by another loyalty. The last thing in the world she wanted was to miss her chance to get to the island by midnight. She ran a claw subconsciously around the onyx in her neckband, the sound of the iron sliding over the stone slowly pulling her back to the moment. She met Helios's gaze.
"How long would you be willing to wait? Say, twenty-four hours?"
