'k. One of the humans did say Eclipse was going in tonightI was just thinking about that.. they *could.*
But tonight was focusing on the SandWings and a couple other big competitors. Sol is in two, the last one, and one somewhere in the middle.

Did they? Did I write that? :l What if we adjust everything- say the Auction was cancelled, Tobias bought Eclipse, but made a deal- she has to participate in the fight tonight, and he wasn't able to be in contact with Sol to let him know because the fights were beginning. Maybe Sol wins that last fight and they throw Eclipse in.'k. One of the humans did say Eclipse was going in tonight
Um, whatever you think makes the most sense lol. I'll just rp along to whatever you decideDid they? idk you tell me what this meant. I am not good with slang lol @_-Captain BRM-_Sol lowered his head down to her level.
"Shh. Calm down, no one's doing nothing to yuh."
Tobias kneeled, shaking his head in awe.
"She'll go out tonight." Someone shouted to Tobias from his running truck, leaning out the window, "You bid on her?"
Tobias hesitated, shaking out of his daze. "Yeah. Yeah, maybe."
Sol ignored them, taking a step closer to the cage, noticing the band around the LunarWing's nose.
Oh, oh, he meant she's out for the auction. Not competing yet.idk you tell me what this meant. I am not good with slang lol @_-Captain BRM-_
Sunspot could feel the anger vibrating off of Eclipse.Eclipse let out a heavy sigh and slid to the floor in her cage, watching Sol pace away with his human. His tail dragged behind him and he looked suddenly exhausted. But oddly, at the same time, he looked determined and resolved. Eclipse didn't understand anything the human had said, but it almost seemed worried. It was also strange that he seemed so determined to get her out. Solarwing and Lunarwings had a... history. They were polar opposites--sun and moon, gold and silver, cool and heat. Eclipse sometimes wondered if that was why Sunspot had always been so bitter toward her. But Sol... he didn't look at her the same. Almost all Solarwings she'd met looked down on her--they hated her. So why didn't Sol? She wished she could ask what was happening, the horrible vibrating band over her snout had never been more annoying. She let out a low growl and tried again to hook her claws beneath the clasp and pry it off.
Her claws slipped over its smooth surface and her broken claw scraped painfully against the metal. She hissed loudly and pulled her talon back to her chest. She glanced back toward Helios' cage on the other side of the courtyard from her. The old Solarwing was still unconscious and she wondered if, in his brief stirring, he might have seen Sol. Eclipse slowly let her gaze travel over the courtyard. The other two were awake now. Neoma looked as furious as she was worried, and Sunspot looked anxious. Eclipse stared hard at the Solarwing for a long moment, anger beginning to churn inside her blood.
I told her we couldn't fight them, she thought laying her head on her talons but keeping her cold gaze locked on Sunspot. We should have flown away. I don't care if she'd think I'm a coward. We would still have a fighting chance. We had the distance advantage and a way of the land. Half those Nightwings have probably never left the desert. We would still be out there and I... Tears welled up in her eyes and she blinked fiercely, trying to swallow the tightness in her throat. I could have been on the island right now. I would have been late, and maybe he would have been scared or upset. But that is so much better than being here. Now he will always wonder what happened to me, and I.... I'll never... She couldn't finish the thought. She finally noticed Sunspot looking at her and she quickly turned her head away, hoping the Solarwing couldn't see the fresh tears that flowed over her scales. She folded her wings over her head again, with a deep shuddery breath. That star-cursed dragon took everything from me. Why did I ever save her arrogant tail?
I can try my best after I get home, so like 4:30?I'd love to RP the fight tonight- but we'll need Kiwi. Is there a good time we will all be on? Since Tobias will have to be very active during the bid.
Yes. It depends on the Solarwing. Sunspot is very good at controlling her scales and they fluctuate with her emotions as well. Helios can control his, but they have almost a sort of energy limit (maybe because he's older?) I think some Solarwings don't have heat scales at all, but I could be wrong. You should consult Kiwi for further detailOh, oh, he meant she's out for the auction. Not competing yet.
Also- can SolarWings control their scales heat?
What time zone are you in? I need to drive out to some customers for bunnies, so I'm out till 7 easternSunspot could feel the anger vibrating off of Eclipse.
She felt some kind of heavy, smothering feeling settling on her wings. Guilt? The thought she'd had just before capture returned. Your fault. the thought was louder, echoing in her head, filling her entire mind. Sunspot gritted her teeth and glared sullenly at the floor, wanting to disappear, or kill something, or both.
She stretched out her wings, but they only extended about halfway before hitting the cage bars. She had hoped she would be able to use her sharp wing blades to free herself. She was also betting on the fact that once the sedative wore off completely, she would be able to melt and blaze her way out.
Obviously it couldn't be that easy.... but she had no choice.
Her scales felt scuffed and sore and dull, and she wanted to plunge into an oasis and scrape every sign of this place off of her. The air was hot and muggy, which usually didn't bother her, but the humidity and smell clung to her scales and wings.

Yea the strength and control depends on how long you've been practicing, age, stuff like that. I thought about maybe making it correlate with what time of day they hatched? Noon being the most powerful firescales, night being none, etc. I'm still developing the tribe too so I'm open to suggestionsYes. It depends on the Solarwing.
