Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

I have two characters I'm going to add... they're twins and come as a package deal lol!
Get ready to welcome.... Apple and Bamboo!!!

Name(s): Apple and Bamboo!
Gender(s): Apple: Female. Bamboo: Male
Age(s): 20
Tribe: Rainwings
Physical Appearance:
- Apple:
Average size, pinkish-red over most of her body but with swirls of yellow-green and deep maroon. (Look up a picture of a pink lady apple for clarification if needed, that's where I got those colors lol) She's blind, so she has milky-white eyes. Has a white sloth pet always clinging to her, whose name is Ivory. Apple's claws are a strange yellow-green shade, like Bamboo's colors.
- Bamboo: Average size. His body is soft green with shading of the same yellow shade as Apple. His eyes are light pinkish red, like Apple's scales. Claws are black.
Personalities:
- Apple:
Smart and sensible. Soft-spoken and rather shy. Well-spoken in both Human and Dragonese. Gets along with almost everyone she meets, due to her kind and thoughtful nature. Thinks of a way past nearly every obstacle she comes across. Has a huge heart and hates knowing someone is hurt, which has led her to practice some healing arts. She is heavily relied on by both her family and any tribe-members that need healing. She has a beautiful singing voice, and loves nature. She balances out with Bamboo, reminding him to be serious and careful. She takes his jokes and stuff well, having a calm but firm handle on things. She loves her silly brother with everything, and though she talks about how stupid he is, knows he can be very smart when it comes to it and would rather see the world end than him leave her.
- Bamboo: He's a ditz. He can be really dumb sometimes, and can get in the way if he's not careful. Loves to fight, but is awful at it, because he has no training. He could be good at it because he's quick to learn, but doesn't have the focus to concentrate on something for long. Smiles a lot, and loves to lounge in the sun. He's a goof and will do whatever it takes to cheer someone up. He helps Apple lighten up when she's sad. Also a bit of a practical joker. Though he wouldn't say it to her face, he would die without hesitation for Apple. He loves her so much, even though he's always teasing her and doing stupid stuff and getting in her way.
Backstory: Bamboo and Apple were hatched from the same egg, and the tribe was thrilled with healthy twins. They've grown up happy and healthy in their group of Rainwings. They love life in the tribe, but Bamboo had always read of the old adventures. He would read them aloud to Apple, and she could hear the longing in his voice to go on an adventure of his own. She knows that he'll jump at the chance to go on an adventure, and silently, she's made up her mind that she'll go with him to the ends of the earth.
Their motto reflects their mindset; Born together, live together, laugh and cry together. Go together, arrive together, Die together.
Other: Bamboo plays the harp, and Apple loves to sing with it. Sometimes he will join in with harmony, and they will sing old tales together. They often finish each others sentences, thinking along the same lines.
Apple is a serious, softspoken, laid-back dragon, but she has a silly side that Bamboo knows well and she lets out sometimes when she feels like it. Similarly, Bamboo has a serious and wise side that he presents in the correct situations. They aren't good at fighting, especially Apple. Apple knows Braille (the dragon version.... I can't remember what Tamarind called it) and reads what things she can that are written in it.

Sorry- I was writing and getting distracted and stuff.
We could do that! The only reason I didn't have Neoma being sold, is because I thought she was Kiwi's and Kiwi hasn't been super active, which is fine, I just wanted to keep moving everything along. 💀

Love you, Kiwi :D✌️🤣
i don't care what you decide, i'll go with it either way! i've been busy working on apple and bamboo's description lol! oops, haha! it's ok, i get people's characters mixed up sometimes too!!!

YALL IM SO EXCITED ABOUT APPLE AND BAMBOO THEYRE SO CUTE

Let's just say straight to the lot. Then Shrike can torment her or something and she doesn't just have to wait around.
Eclipse saw the faces of several different humans appear on the large, flat windows that surrounded the arena, as well as another one that had what looked like writing on it. She glanced around at the weird images and noticed the human she had seen with Sol earlier that day displayed one of them. The next few moments passed uneventfully, but disturbing all the same. The loud voice continued shouting excitedly over the area, often repeating itself and the writing on the window shifted. She wasn't sure what the humans were watching more by this point--her or the displays. Finally, the loud voice gave one last excited shout and the screens all shifted again. The scavengers around Eclipse barked something harsh and began prodding her back the way she'd come. She glared viciously at one of the closer ones. What was the point of all that? She thought bitterly at the haughty little creature. Just drag me out here, put me on display, and yell at me? I would almost have rather fought. Another human jabbed her in the side, sending more pain shooting through her already aching body.
That does it. Fear aside, Eclipse lunged at one of the creatures with a loud snarl. The human scrambled backwards with a yelp, waving its metal prod at her uselessly. She swatted the metal rod away and slashed, her claws catching the thing in the leg and sending it tumbling over the ground. She was about to pounce on it and prepare to tear it to shreds when more of the jolting pain tore through her body, and she stumbled and collapsed with a yelp. One of the humans grabbed ahold of one of her horns and yanked her head sideways back towards the door, stabbing the rod into her side over and over. Her mind blurred from the pain, Eclipse was hardly even aware of the short trip back to the enclosure and then into her cage again, once more on the back of one of the transports. She curled on the hard metal floor exhausted.
Why are these creatures even the way they are? All this useless moving around and stabbing and yelling. They must have sand for brains.
The transport rolled out again to the somewhat open air of the rest of the Den. The sky was much darker now, painted with brilliant streaks of indigo and gold. Eclipse glanced back at the arena, where she could still hear the loud voice echoing and the excited cheering of the crowd. She closed her eyes and tucked her snout beneath the fold of her wing, her mind drifting once again back to the island. She wondered if, between all the short events, she would ever think about anything else in this horrid place. It was a sobering thought--that she might be here forever, always remembering the one thing that she truly cared about. It wasn't even until that moment, while she ran through all the possible other things she might have to think--such as the others--that she realized she had finally killed the Nightwing who had haunted her life for so long. Now, without that mission constantly taking her all over the continent, she would have more time to maybe spend on the island, and maybe even explore further, all of it with the dragon she loved most right by her side. But she couldn't. Because she had spent all this time chasing one stupid Nightwing, only to end up here. It felt like a waste.
Eclipse curled up tighter, sinking deeper into these thoughts as the transport continued through the twisting streets of the Scorpion Den, which would soon become her only home.

@_-Captain BRM-_

Whitestars expression darkened at the scavenger's question. His rest and then the strange interaction had pushed his mission to the back of his mind, but now, the human's simple inquiry brought it all flooding back, along with the urgency. He looked away from her, staring up at the sun that was beginning to sink from its perch in the center of the sky.
"I'm going to the Den. The Scorpion Den." He pointed in the direction of the human city. "There is a dragon there that I need to save." He hoped the human understood him.
The white dragon looked away, and Alyssia wondered what he could be looking at. She hoped that he had understood her question. She heard something about the Scorpion Den and cocked her head, following the way he pointed. Then she heard something about saving a dragon. Immediately, the image of the place she had escaped from came to mind. There were many dragons there that needed saving. Thinking about the direction he pointed, she concluded that that had to be the place he was talking about. She shuddered as the memory of the place came back to her mind. Shaking her head, she brought herself back to the present.
"Whitestar, who is dragon? What look like?" she inquired, hoping that she had maybe seen the dragon while escaping and be able to help just a little. The dragon looked distressed and her heart softened and she felt the need to try and help. Plus, maybe this would open an opportunity for a plan to free the others as well...
Whitestar paused, trying to think of a way to translate it to Alyssia. "A Lunarwing," he said simply at first. When she still looked confused he continued, "A silver dragon? Silver?" He traced three circles in the sand, one noticeably bigger than the other two, which were roughly the same size. He hoped they looked enough like moons. "Lunarwing? Moon dragon?" He blew some ice onto the sandy drawings, hoping the silver frost would add enough touch to bring the point across.
Blackout heard a whoop in the background, and his celebration of freedom was cut short. Unaware of the Rainwing watching him from above, he whipped his head to look in the direction he heard the cry.
He brushed greenery aside as he quietly stepped through the jungle, avoiding twigs and things that would cause noise. His training in quiet movement was coming in handy. He knew his flapping wings would cause too much commotion, so as he approached closer to where he heard the call, he pulled his wings closer to his body and shrunk as much as possible.
He came to the edge of a small clearing where there was a pond, and his jaw almost dropped. The small human that had been in the group he had been fighting earlier was standing there, talking to an Icewing.
An ICEWING? His mind reeled slightly. Sure, now that wars were over and lines weren't as important anymore, it was more normal to find dragons out of their natural surroundings... but an Icewing?! On the edge of the desert? In the jungle?
That was a lot of warmth, even for a Nightwing. Blackout shuddered for the colder dragon who must be suffering in the sweltering heat.
He silently watched the two interacting. Suddenly, the dragon began drawing. As Blackout leaned in to hear the words, he realized they were talking about the Scorpion Den. The Icewing apparently had someone he needed to save.
"-Lunarwing? Moon dragon?"
Blackout's jaw really did open this time. He had seen not one, but two. This Icewing was looking for one of them.
Blackout shut his eyes tightly and took a deep breath. How could he look as non-threatening as possible?
He relaxed his wings, letting them sit at ease. They weren't tightly hugged to his body, but they weren't spread at all. He lifted his head a little, and stepped out of the trees, trying not to scare either of them.
"Hello?" He said carefully. "I'm sorry to eavesdrop, but I come from the Den. I mean- I ran from there. Well actually, I flew... I used to be part of the army, see, but then I left- wait, I meant- I'm not a deserter..." he trailed off, realizing he was rambling.
"Long story short, I decided I couldn't keep going there. So, I left, but not before a battle where I encountered a group that had two Lunarwings! They're so rare, that I assume one of them must be who you're looking for, hopefully! Well, not hopefully, because we don't want them in the Den, but at least then we'd know where your companion is..."
He stopped again.
"Sorry." He said sheepishly. "I guess even my words are realizing they're free now!" He gave an apologetic grin.
His mind flashed back to the small, wiry Lunarwing he had trapped earlier. He hoped the Icewing was there for her, because her desperately hopeless manner made him want her to have someone there for her.
And he didn't really want to go back to the Den, but if he found out that the Icewing wasn't going for her, then Blackout would. He wasn't leaving someone for gone, especially when they had no one.

Neoma cried softly into her talons. Her head was buried in her talons, and they blocked out the bright light around her. The strange buzzing had subsided just enough for her head not to hurt as badly, but she still felt light head pain.
Neoma lifted her head quickly as Eclipse was yanked out of her cell. Scrambling to her feet, Neoma growled loudly through her muzzle. Were they taking her to kill her? What was going on?
Neoma slammed her body against the bars, and began whacking her tail on the floor, causing a loud commotion as Eclipse was dragged out of sight.
Humans passing by with long metal prods began shoving them in at her, and she trapped a couple beneath her talons. She hit her snout gently against the bars, enough to scare the humans. The long sharp prods now laid on her cell floor, and she quickly shuffled so that she was covering them more. The humans ran off, yelling something she couldn't understand. As they disappeared and didn't return, Neoma grinned slightly.
No human can recover these things now, she thought smugly.
Her wings, strapped to her sides, were cramping from the lack of use. Propping one of the spears in her talons, Neoma began rubbing the sharp edge against the straps.
All of a sudden, a distant but loud roar broke into the air. It sounded like a huge amount of humans, and it made Neoma jump. She poked herself gently with the sharp prods, and winced. They hurt a bit more than she wished.
Another few humans passed by, and Neoma stopped, dropping the spears and shuffling to hide them from sight again. A few of the humans looked at her suspiciously, and she looked blankly back at them.
Nothing to see here, she thought viciously. Just another stupid unthinking animal, hmm? Yeah, that's right. I'm stupid and have no idea what's going on.
She wished she could whack them with her tail as one squeaked something and then flapped his noodle-like arms, imitating a roar. The other two laughed.
You want a roar? I would give you one if it wasn't for this stupid muzzle!
Neoma settled herself with another angry growl. The humans all yelped and began scurrying away, Neoma watching them with light satisfaction.
Heh.
