Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Tobias scoffed. He strode slowly to Sol's side, a plate of grilled burger patties in his hand. "Hey, bud. Were you awake for the rebellion convo yesterday?"
Sol nodded, declining the food.
"Oh, common. You need energy."
"No, I'll throw it all back up. Just wait."
Tobias sighed, sitting down beside Sol, and setting the plate down at his feet.
"I want to get up." Sol announced.
"Oh, goodness, bro, just wait."
"Why?"
"Because- because you're leg.. and your shoulder-"
"For gosh sake, drop the whole shoulder thing."
Tobias half smiled, then shook his head, "Your whole wing was wrenched out of socket."
"And?"
Tobias sighed, dropping his head into his hands. "Do whatever. But we need to talk-" he slowly turned his gaze to Sol, "you could very easily compromise us if you don't decide to hop on transport. I'm not leaving you. I vote we go the truck route. We can help transport dragons out of here."
Sol groaned. "I don't want.. yeah, okay. I still feel really, really weird. I want to walk and see what happens."
"It's because all Sunday night you were dying in the Infirmary, dude."
"It happens."
"There was.. a wild amount of SandWing venom. You're still on some crazy pain meds and just coming off of sedatives."
Sol shivered. "Yeah, let's not do that again. Uhh."
Tobias leaned against the dragon. "I'm so glad your alive." He whispered.
Sol smiled. "Me too." He waited a moment longer, a smile creeping on his expression. "K, get off dude, I'm gonna walk."
Eclipse smiled and shook her head slightly as she watched the two of them. It was clear that they were close, and Eclipse could understand why Sol was so hesitant to leave Tobias.
"Don't worry Tobias. If he falls over I won't let him hit too hard." She glanced back to Sol with a wry smile. "I don't think I ever officially introduced myself."

Sol gave a breathy laugh as Tobias stood up beside him. "Yeah, yeah, I could use your help." He nodded towards Eclipse. "Thank you."
Sol extended his right wing, pushing himself off the ground rather suddenly, leaning hard against the cage.
"You good?" Tobias asked quickly, rushing to support the dragon.
"I'm fine. I'm fine."

Eclipse stood up and set one talon inside the cage, ready in case Sol lost his balance. She hesitated before slowly holding out her left wing for support, feeling awkward.

Sol swallowed, breathing heavily. "-It's okay." He tried to shrug Tobias off, but tripped.
Tobias bit back a sarcastic comment as Sol took a few fast steps out of the cage, and he rushed to keep up with the dragon.
Stars circled in Sol's peripheral vision as he stood, tensely, feeling rather relieved. A groggy pain pulsed in his left shoulder, but it really wasn't bad- though that could be the pain meds talking.
"Steady. You steady?" Tobias asked, slowly releasing his hold on Sol and taking a slow step back.
"I'm steady." Sol agreed, smirking. He flexed his wings, glancing at his leg and loosing half his confidence. "That's.. intense."
Tobias nodded grimly, kneeling beside the stitched wound winding down from Sol's flank to his leg. "I'll help clean it after this. I still see bits of sand." He frowned, reaching for Sol's leg, but Sol sidestepped clumsily, laughing sourly.
"Nah, nah, let me freaking walk while that thing doesn't hurt."
Tobias rolled his eyes, "It doesn't hurt  now?"
"I can't feel it." Sol shrugged, cocking his head. Come to notice it- he couldn't feel much at all, save a strange tingling sensation through his entire body. Perhaps that was drugged pain. Sol shivered.
"Thank you for being on stand by, Eclipse." Tobias rolled his sleeves up, nodding at the LunarWing.

"Don't mention it," Eclipse murmured, giving Sol a bit of space as he stepped unsteadily out of the cage. I know what it's like to try and do this alone. She left the last bit unsaid, realizing only at the last moment that her thoughts weren't completely left to herself. She glanced at Bloodmoon anxiously, hoping he wasn't paying enough attention to have heard.
"So what is the plan?" she went on hurriedly. "I couldn't exactly figure it out from what the other human said. When exactly are we leaving and how?"

"I'm headed to Roe's lot after this. Want to come?"
"I will." Sol said, and Tobias shook his head immediately. "You need to chill back here. No questions. As your caretaker- you're not coming."
Sol glanced at Eclipse. "Will you go?"

Eclipse stared at Tobias for a moment, her eyes wide with surprise. "You... you want me to come with you--out of here?" she stood up a little straighter, regaining her composure. "Yes. Yes, I will come with you. I need to see something besides the same colorless walls for once." She gave him a wry look.

"That's cool. So long as you... are normal. Don't kill anyone and stuff." Tobias smirked as he walked towards the freezers, snatching his coat and sliding his arms into the sleeves. "Sol, my dude, you just gonna stand there and chill while we're gone?"
"Yessiry." Sol chuckled, shakily lowering himself to the floor.
"Kep. Eclipse? You good going now?"

"The sooner the better," Eclipse chirped, pacing quickly toward the lot door after Tobias, trying not to show her excitement too much. "And don't worry about it. I won't kill anyone," she gave him a mischievous and toothy grin. "This time." She added jokingly.
