Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Eclipse rolled her eyes and followed Tobias, shooting Roe one last apologetic look. Vel closed the lot door behind them as they started down the twisting halls of the maze, Tobias' boots echoing loudly on the plain, concrete walls and floor. Silence hung thickly in the air between them as they retraced their previous steps back to the lot, Eclipse glancing constantly down at Tobias, waiting for some sharp comment about her freed warping.
"How long have you known Roe?" she said nonchalantly after a while, trying to fill the awkward lack of conversation.
"Roe was raised here. I came seven years ago." Tobias glanced at Eclipse. "I've known her for a while. Actually, she had another sister. A twin that I was rather close to for a few months. But she was killed a week after their father's death." Tobias sighed heavily. "He owned a big transport business. Lot of controversy on the whole thing. In short, Roe lost her father's business, and she's thrown herself at every man for the past five years, scrounging for money." Tobias reached for the gun in his pocket, grabbing the muzzle and shoving it between his pants and belt. "She recently seems to have... straightened up. I don't really know how much of it is accurate." Tobias met Eclipse's gaze. "Like I said, there are no morals in this whole damned city. She may think she is doing the right thing, freeing the dragons and all-" he lowered his voice, "but she's lived a rather.. interesting life. And the only reason I notice- is because of how I was raised and where. I still seem to be looking in from the outside. But I'm sure I've fallen into tricks and lies. I'm sure I've become them."

Eclipse stared at him in surprise. "What do you mean "become them"?" she said, cocking her head at him. "I know I haven't been in the Den for very long, but even I can see that you aren't like the rest of the humans here."
She turned her head away to stare straight ahead of them up the seemingly endless hallway. "Maybe that's what Roe likes about you so much."

Tobias cleared his throat rather aggressively, stopping suddenly at his lots door. "Maybe." He agreed vaguely. He hesitated before swinging the door open. "How you doing buddy?" He asked, trotting towards Sol.
Sol lifted his head with a relieved smile. "I'm fine." His gaze wandered towards Eclipse.

Bloodmoon lifted his head as he awoke from a very good dream. He grinned at Tobias. "Hey there. Hi Eclipse," He added with a touch of shyness. Bloodmoon, she doesn't even like you. Stop it.

Eclipse paused for a moment outside the door, watching Tobias with a small mischievous grin before she slid gracefully into the lot. She glanced around at the other dragons. Kapok was sitting not far from Sol, gazing warily toward Shrike, who was lying with his back to the others near a couple of small transports. Bloodmoon had been asleep and was now awake, and Dred was alone on the opposite side of the lot. Sol was laying not far from where he'd been when Eclipse and Tobias had left, his gaze slowly shifting from the human to her as she paced inside.
Eclipse gave Bloodmoon a small smile and a quick nod before turning back to Sol. "You look a little... rough," she said, noting Sol's somewhat unsteady appearance and slightly pale scales. Eclipse glanced between all of the dragons again before turning to Bloodmoon again.
"Did I... miss something?"
