Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Bloodmoon snarled at Eclipse as she practically impaled his side. "Sorry your majesty, I didn't realize that your huge body needed so much space." He gasped as he realized what he had just said. "Eclipse, I'm sorry. I don't know why I just said that."

Bloodmoon took one last look at Eclipse and hopped out of the truck. Walking over to the passenger side, he opened the door gently. Holding out his talons, he carefully slid Nic onto them. Using his wings as front legs, he walked over to the driver. The sweet smell of blood wafted up and Bloodmoon licked his lips. Snap out of it Bloodmoon. This human needs help, he doesn't need to be eaten. "Can I help?"
Eclipse bared her teeth at Bloodmoon's sharp words. She felt her scales prick self-consciously at the insult and she took a step back, forcing her snarl to quiet when he immediately apologized.
"It's fine," she snapped. "Forget it just--get your stupid human already."
She hated it when dragons did this to her. One moment they acted like they were fine with her, and then something that seemed so small set them off like an explosive mountain cactus.
Eclipse stared hard at the human as Bloodmoon lept out of the truck and disappeared around the side.
Eclipse glanced up again as Sunspot appeared next to her, shaking her head slowly after she spoke.
"I don't understand him," she ran a talon down her snout. "Or most dragons for that matter. It's not a big deal."
She turned around and paced deeper into the transport, weaving quickly between the dragons to get away from the tension, checking each of them for injuries. Something tugged at her wing and she flinched, her head swiveling around at the touch.
A young Icewing dragonet was standing near her wing, her dark eyes locking with Eclipse's. The youngling winced at the defensive response but didn't move from where she was. She was holding one forearm pressed against her chest and her wing was dragging on the ground. Eclipse could see the dark blue blood spilling from a trio of bullet marks that traced from her wing shoulder down her arm, and the expression on her face was a mix of desperation and horror. She didn't look more than a year or two old.
"My wing hurts," she whispered, her voice trembling and barely audible. "Can you help me?"
Eclipse instinctively moved her wing over the dragonet, making sure not to touch her, and gestured toward the door, guiding the dragonet wordlessly toward the human. She ducked her head down to the younger dragoness's level.
"The human can help you," she murmured gently. "You have to trust him for now. I'll be right here."
She slid past Sunspot, somewhat relieved to feel a gentle warmth hovering over the Solarwing's scales. She motioned the dragonet toward the driver, waiting patiently on the edge of the transport as he finished tending to Nic.
"What is your name," she whispered to the Icewing.
"Shard." The word was barely a whisper.
"Where are your parents?"
"I don't know. They never woke up."
Eclipse was silent, rage creeping up her spine at the dragonet's reply. She lightly brushed her wing over the dragonet's back comfortingly as she exchanged a glance with Sunspot.

Bloodmoon saw a dragonet shuffling towards him. Oh great, an Icewing. But she was only a little one, so Bloodmoon walked over.
"What's wrong? Oh. here, let's get that fixed up for you." He walked over to the driver and cleared his throat.
"Can you help this one?"

(I have an IceWing OC named Shard :0)

Sunspot met Eclipses eyes before peering at the tiny IceWing. She’d never liked dragonets. But something in this one reminded Sunspot of herself…

Sunspot sighed, swishing her tail across the floor. She felt fairly in the way and useless. Everyone else seemed to have a job and knew what was going on, but not her.

The weird part was, normally Sunspot wouldn’t have cared. She would’ve laughed in all these dragons faces and flew away the first chance she got, but now she didn’t want to. She felt some kind of…. companionship towards them?

(Oops... I was trying to come up with something that wasn't too pretty like "Crystal" but not too basic like "frostbite" or "snowflake" because a lot of people name Icewing OC stuff like that.)

Eclipse's tail twitched in both annoyance and interest at the hard look that crossed Bloodmoon's expression when he saw the dragonet.
Looks like he isn't outside his tribe's natural dislike for Icewings, she thought bitterly, watching him turn and pace back toward the human. She wasn't sure if the sudden bitterness was from Bloodmoon's stinging words a moment before, or perhaps the fact that, deep down, Eclipse favored Icewings over Nightwings.
Stop it Eclipse. This isn't about tribal barriers.
She remembered vaguely again that Bloodmoon might be listening to her thoughts and she couldn't suppress a frustrated look from crossing her face before she forced her gaze up to the sky, smothering her thoughts in a bombardment of meaningless observations about the space around her.
Eclipse heard Sunspot sigh and she glanced back at the Solarwing, pulling herself out of the mental space. She looked conflicted. Or discouraged. Eclipse couldn't really tell.
"You alright?" she murmured, resting her wing completely over Shard's back.

Bloodmoon didn't have to know what Eclipse was thinking, he already knew. Ignoring the little voice inside him, he turned to Shard. "Your being very brave right now Shard, good job,"
