Gots itSol shook his head, ushering her into the large, main cavern. "I got Tobe back." He smiled gently. "That's all that matters."
Kiwi, do you want Sunspot to join them on the last Transport? With Shard? And, Taber, maybe Eclipse could, too xD. I think the RP would appreciate it if dragons made more connections and relationships, and we got a bit of a ride to do it.Heck, maybe Helios can be there, too.
Shard is instructed by Eclise to take the transport if she isn't there before it leaves, she'll probably tag along with Bloodmoon (even though @Mary Poopins Love isn't here for some reason)Unless I make Sunspot stick around for eclipse since she literally cannot function in the presence of other dragons because her social skills = Be A Jerk and Eclipse is the only one she knows.. idk what I’d do with shard thoigh and I want to make new connections too… but again- social skills = 0
WellEclipse legit just out in the desert all alone, can't fly, won't make it back before the transports leave.
I could just, keep her at the cavern after everyone's left and have Whitestar find her later, but I need @Harmonylight to continue Blackout and them before I do. I might write Alicanto real quick.
Vel scowled. "Respect the dead, idiot." She gave a heavy sigh, her eyes on the approaching intersection snaking its way through the desert. "You don't deserve to know."Alicanto could feel exhaustion dragging at his wings and mind.
The splotches of venom from Gen had hardened over his deformed feathers, clumping into a tangled black mess scattered up the side of his neck and one wing. His other wing was stinging like something fierce where Sol had grabbed it, and the spot on his neck where the Solarwing had pressed his wing thumb into the feathers was crusted with blood, but still broke and began oozing if he turned his head too far, burning so much, it made his stomach wrench. His ribs and shoulder were starting to ache, and he was sure he probably had a considerably large bruise where he'd hit the sand when the Lunarwing knocked him out of the air. The back of his head stung mildly from where Gen had ripped out some of his larger crest feathers and the small scratches the weaponized hybrid had given him from the poisoned black claws.
Of course, he wasn't about to show how miserable he actually felt, especially not around this snappy Rainwing.
The sky to the eastern horizon was beginning to glow a burning fiery gold and orange as the dawn slowly pushed away the night sky. The largest moon had finally set, and in the distance ahead of the three dragons, the edges of the Scorpion Den were beginning to outline the horizon.
Alicanto had been wrestling with his guilt and regret for hours, ignoring the tense silence between the hunters and their captive. He had completely lost himself to his thoughts again, stirring once more over the feeling of something he could never remember, and for the first time in his life, almost did.
He also wondered if he should have traded August for the Rainwing. She had seemed too willing to go, and the closer they got to the Den, the more he felt like maybe, he should have simply taken Tobias, knowing Sol wouldn't dare stop him with the human's life in the gamble. If the Rainwing didn't prove helpful in tracking down the rebellion... Alicanto shuddered at the thought of what that would mean for him. And perhaps, a little worried about what would happen to Ajax as well.
The silver Cloudwing glanced over at their tag-along again, wondering not for the first time who she had been asking Tobias about before they departed. The Rainwing looked as lost in thought as he was, and her expression was usually along the lines of a scowl, sullen, or just an emotionless stare.
Alicanto fixed a carefree composure on his own expression and angled his wings, swooping up and over the Rainwing, pulling back slightly to fly beside her.
"Don't mind me asking," he said nonchalantly, watching the sunrise off to their side. "Who exactly is this 'Roe'?"

Taber, you could write Eclipse reaching the cavern, or still out there... But I think the fight was just a few miles out. She should be able to clear that in 30 minutes considering her size and speed. So, she should just be reaching the cavern- if that's what you want, that is. But they aren't going to leave her out there, goober, my goshWellI thought we'd wait for her. Wth, Taber, Sol *and Tobe* ain't just gonna leave her out there

“No, it’s fine,” Cas said automatically, taken aback."I wasn't asking you," she snapped, and stormed off in search of Sol. As soon as the words left her mouth, she regretted them. Cas was only being helpful, and she was being awful.
She turned around to apologize. "Cas, I'm sorry," she said miserably, grimacing.
Cas gasped and staggered dramatically, “Tobias and SOL? Nooo..” he snickered.Kass have the dragon a critical look. "You've never heard of ToBiAs AnD sOL?!" He wiggled his claws ominously, then rolled his eyes.
“Thirty,” Cas leaned over and hissed to Kal with a side eye. He grinned and sat up quickly, “yup, I’ll come.”"Yo, yo, chill down, chill down." Kassa stood, waving Hibiscus back. He glanced back at Tobias, who met his gaze from where he half lay against the cave wall- awake. "Aw, frick it-"
"WOAHWOAHWAO-" Kal yelped, pushing past Hibiscus and Cas as he entered the cave. "Watch the language, muchacha." He leaned over Tobias, who watched the dragon carefully, confusion playing at his expression.
Cass narrowed his eyes, spinning back to face his brother. "That's muchaCHO, ya idiot."
Tobias let out a shuddering exhale, inhaling sharply, his gaze moving slowly from dragon to dragon as he pushed himself against the cave wall, his left arm wrapped tightly around his rib cage.
Kal frowned. "Do you know where you are?"
Tobias dropped his gaze, closing his eyes.
"Tobe?" Kal cleared his throat. "August, do you know where you are?"
"No."
Cass shivered, glancing back at the exit. Where was Sol and Gen?
"You're at the first Checkpoint. Sol's here. You're safe, man. It's all good."
Tobias nodded once. "Sol's here?" His voice was quiet, but controlled.
"You bet. But he's, uh.. helpin. The.. other- dragons." Kal grinned and Kassa whipped his tail at his brother's heels. "Whatcha here for, dude?" Kass asked, pointing a claw accusingly at Kal. "Leave the dying man alone, he's-"
"Not dying, nitwit." Kal interrupted with a hiss. "Jun says we're loading up for the next Checkpoint." The RainWing motioned to Hibiscus and Cass. "That's you, too."
"Unless you want to wait for the last transport?" Kassa grinned. "That's the one we goin on, dog, gunna be a PARRTAYYYY." He let his colors shift to ballistic mode, every shade imaginably flashing across his scales for hardly a millisecond.
"WOAH, OKAY- calm down, Joseph, got a DYING MAN on the fricken floor-"
"HE's not DylnG, niTwit," Kass rolled his eyes, moving quickly towards Tobias. He leaned his head down, acting as a support as the man stood.
Kassa reached around Tobias' back, but the human pushed his talon away. "I'll walk."
Kass cocked his head. "Dude-"
The human leaned against the cave wall, his expression determined as he shrugged Kass off once again. "I'll. Walk."
"Impressive." Kal dropped his voice at least two octaves. "Most impressive."
"Ten bucks says he doesn't make it through the door."
Kal mock gasped, "Noooo, that's so mean! Twenty."
Kassa snorted, nodding when Tobias leaned hesitantly against the dragon's neck.
Kal turned to Hibiscus and Cas, his brow arched. "But- y'all wanna come with us? On the last Transport truck? Cuz, it gone be epicc."
