Off balance chickens!! Need ideas!!

Just been out and checked her abdomen, it feels soft but then a firm bit in the a bit deeper which must have been painful because as I pressed it she hit the floor and tried to poo also a yellowish discharge coming from her back end, it won't let me upload a video but I will post pics she holds her neck stretched out and drooping, and is very against me holding her which she never used to be.

It's possible it could be Egg Yolk Peritonitis or some other internal laying/reproductive disorder.

Try giving her a soak in warm bath with epsom salts. Clean off the poo and inspect so you can see the vent. Once she has soaked for a while and hopefully relaxed, use some ky jelly or vaseline, lube her vent and gently feel inside her vent about an inch to see if you feel an egg - just to be sure she isn't egg bound.

If you feel an egg, offer extra calcium sometimes a crushed Tums will work. Place her in a warm quiet area and see if she will pass an egg.

Continue to offer the vitamins in her water and wet feed with egg if she will eat it.

Vet care may be best if you have it available.

Thank you for the advice I will try all of the above!! unfortunately my local vets know very very little about chickens and gave me abuse for even taking in a chicken last time

And told me I should try to find a tropical animal vet??!!! I will give her a good soak tomorrow and see what I can do/see. Thank you ever so much for the advice I don't want to loose her, is there anything I could give her in the way of pain relief? I hate the thought of her hurting
