Off topic liberty/privacy killer (The Earn It Act)

We are about to lose our interent privacy. Please, read up on The Earn It Act. I would rather be dead than loose our privacy and freedom. It feels like everything possible is being done to make 1984 a full reality. I personally refuse to stand by and watch it happen!!!

I agree. 1984 is scary but I think with development of technology, it was inevitable.

Perhaps, however I think we still have the power to prevent it.

I remember reading in the early 1980s regarding the predictions in the novel that the US already had the technology to surveil but didn't feel the urge to use it. Russia had not yet achieved the technology but would wield it once they achieved it.
China is now surveilling their populace in alarming ways.
