Nope, no goats.

And I'm egtting an egg a day from my 6 girls. The Buffs haven't started laying yet, and just one EE. Still, we get one really pretty green egg!

I love my arocana/ameracan i dont kow which breed she is but she lay the purtyest green eggs for me everyday.

I am getting 3-5 a day. had an interuption over the weekend when a snake got in the coop again. This time he left with at least 2 eggs (I suspect more) and two GOLF BALLS. I had placed out 4 golf balls the previous day in the nest boxes and sure as shooting, two were gone. I hope he got a big, fat tummy ache!!!! Don't think he has been back since.

I have a lovely little garter snake on my front steps right now...it lives in the door jamb, but I think he's outgrowing it...When I first saw him he was about 6 inches long, today he's about a foot long...He even let my DS pat him a couple of times...
