For a little inspiration, and definitely not an entry, here was my house one year when we were replacing the siding. It made for a spooky year. The "Keep Out" sign was made out of black electrical tape.

I am SO excited to decorate my coop! We are getting a new one so I'll wait until we have a good time frame on that to get going. I might have to decorate it up for pictures and remove some stuff that has questionable chicken safety (fake spiderwebs and such)

That's my concern with the cotton spiderwebs and any gourds. I'm also going to try to hold out because I don't want to have to show my embarrassingly small coop (it's not that small by choice, don't worry) we're getting a new one that will be much larger.

No need to be embarrassed. We all start out where and when we can. It's what keeps chicken keeping interesting, and ever evolving.
