Yes, I even put it in the instructions! They are still allowed if you can't add text to your image but extra points will be given for properly edited memes with the text on the image (We will not deduct points for different fonts, all fonts are welcome).

The rules don’t say anything about not being allowed to delete one you decided you didn’t like. Can I delete my rooster one?
