He is a true character, so much personality. Too much personality.
I love him and I hate him. My husband is his saving grace.
I am so very thankful mating season is almost over...
Your neighbor should really talk to people who own peacocks/hens that are NOT breeders. There is a big difference in yard art (mine) and the ones kept for profit.
I would never turn anyone away from owning peafowl, they just need to know the REAL life of owning them. Sometimes, it's not fun and pretty, at all.
Compassion, understanding and a very calm/cool head is a MUST!!
Love that answer. Im kinda focused on my geese but that being said, when I was in my 20s My friend in Michigan had peafowl and sheep I took home the most remarkable sheep but never desired a peacock. Could have that day but it takes really incredible people to raise them. They are incredible birds. Keep up your love hate relationship it gets them to where they need to be. keeping the bred strong and your doing a good job.

Thank you.
Encouraging words help his cause very much.
...and my emotions that I blame on him (not his fault, but still)... LoL, thanks again.

This is a my baby Pigeon "Go-Go", it was one of two that hatched in the nest. The other was killed, (I figured a snake due to the slime on head and neck of baby).
Go-Go is very special to me. When we moved in October last year, he came with us and never tried to fly back to the others we left with the new owners. They purchased the whole pack of pigeons, minus Go-Go..
