I feel like writing it added ten years to my life in terms of stress, it was very nerve-wracking. I haven't written anything in a very long time. But I feel very ... um... validated now that it's done.

Have y'all decided yet whether or not a.i generated pictures are allowed? It's only been since last contest when I asked...

I don't see why not as long as it's used to demonstrate something in your article. I might put in tiny print underneath it that it's my AI image though.

The best articles have pictures to go with it, so if you didn't have any pictures or a way to get a picture of something you wanted, then creating your own would help, IMO. Like the old saying, "A picture is worth 1,000 words." So if your AI picture could do that, I'd say go for it!

For a silly example, if you wanted to depict unsafe chickens...

Remember that whoever the judges are have to read every single article and rate them. They are all volunteers and most of them have jobs, livestock, and other responsibilities. I would give them a week or so.
