Human..."Wow Henny, you really tilled alot in my garden! You must be exhausted. "

Henny..."Nah, I'm fine, it really wasn't that 'mulch' work.

I will take that bag of mealworms off your hands, though."

Henny..."Ok Human, Go get me some yarn & a crochet hook...
I'm all cozy here in the dirt & wanna get down to some 'knitty gritty' "

Roosters were looking outside the coop & saw Henny & Jenny on the ground.

"Just look at our lazy ladies! We bust our butts crowing & watching for foxes & hawks & they're laying in the sun!"

Baby chick spoke up..."That's not true Papa Roo, they spent all day, digging & scratching, working on the big mounds of dirt, preparing for our upcoming weekend of chicken games."

Roo..."Well what exactly did they do?"

Chick..."They Leveled the Playing Field!"

2 chickens were fighting over a mountain of dirt.

The dirt won by a landslide.

A man saw 2 hens.
1 hen would dig a hole in the ground.
The 2nd hen immediately filled the hole back in with dirt.
He watched as they move up the street,
doing this over and over.
The 1st hen digs a hole & the 2nd one fills the dirt right back in.
After several minutes,
he asked "Excuse me,
What are you ladies doing?"
"We're working" the 1st hen replies.
"Just the two of you?" He inquires.
"Well" the 2nd hen chimes in, "There's usually 3 of us, but the hen that collects the worms called out sick."
