I wish my chickens and the cats put up with each other - at least to the point were shadow won't swat at them while I pet them instead of him

That last one looks like a beautiful bird! Dark cornish?

Thanks! That cat & chicken picture was right before the chicken scared the cat away. The last pic is of our EE, Peppermint. She has a really neat color pattern. She is very inquisitive and it actually on top of a live-trap with another chicken inside!

Not shadow, Miah, or "squeak" as we call her.
Yes, she does have a beautiful color pattern. Cant help but wonder if she odes have a dark cornish for a parent.

My cat tolerates the chickens, even newborn chicks right under her nose. Its the dogs that don't.....

I tell people I will shoot their dogs if I see them chasing my chickens. Most of them don'tbelive me, and if I got the chance I probably wouldn't, but I have no tolerance whatsoever for ill-mannered dogs. Our Pyr learned fast enough that short term fun = long term angry Zelda
