I found this thread because 1 of my girls is going through a particularly hard moult and I wanted to find out if it was "normal". Compared to some of the entries here, my poor girl is quite well off.

zazouse - congratulations on KF Henny's win, but have you considered breeding for this trait? The Self Plucking Chicken? It might be a goer for the meat birds! I didn't read through the whole thread, someone else quite possibly has already made this suggestion! LOL
