My LBOEGB hen is just starting to molt. Her feathers were sun bleached. I came home and I found all these feathers everywhere and I thought "DID SOMETHING GET IN THE PEN?!?!?" It turns out she was starting to molt. LOL!

There's really not much to see other than all the feathers on the ground. Haha.

This is Tutu and she needs to be entered into the Frizzle catagory. (she is actually a frazzle) I have more pictures of her sadness if you need them. This is her recovery from molting, you can see her new feathers on her chest. lol

I hope she doesn't end up looking like this. LOL!

My chickens are molting like crazy and winter is soon upon us. I hope they grow some new feathers real soon. I read on another blog to feed them Calf Mana, has anyone had any experience with that? We use it all the time for our calves but didn't know you could use it for chickens for molt !

Sorry, I need to go get a new battery for my camera then maybe I can post a few pics. I am not the greatest at it. I have 60 hens who are in various stages of molt and I will be so glad when they are done!
