I will definitely enter once my chickens molting gets heavier. I am starting to find feathers all over the coop but I am not understanding who is shedding them.

Lol! Opposite right here, none of my chickens are laying at all! Not even my Red Sex Link and I don't even think she is molting!

My poor FBC marans roo lost his two long beautiful tail feathers. But that's it so far. But he looks really funny now, almost like a rumpless

Hmmm...nope. Not yet. Lots of eggs still. This will be my first molting experience.

I only have pullets and chicks, but they seem to get their 'big bird feathers' gradually. No one has been ugly or bald. No eggies yet from my older pullets but I expect them to start this month sometime. JUST hatched some little cochins so they will have a long time to wait!

I had a broody this summer who molted...and she doesn't look too happy I took a picture! She's looking a bit better now!
