Me too. I have a bunch of chicken eggs ready to pop, and five goose eggs at the same stage. @R2elk or anyone else who knows more than me (not a very high bar ) I want to give the goslings to my geese--they've been sitting faithfully long enough to have hatched a batch and a half. Any ideas of the best way to do this?

Oh just a bunch of backyard mixes or is it barnyard mixes? I always forget.

The rooster is a production red. The hens were black australorp, red sex link, and a half white leghorn-half black australorp mix. So I’m curious to see. It’s only 9 eggs.

My kids kept wanting me to hatch more because they like seeing them move when I candle them. Unfortunately I didn’t candle them much this time around so it defeated the purpose of the hatch.

I think it’s barnyard mixes.

And oh wow those will be neat!!!!

I am hoping to hatch some barnyard mixes myself eventually lol

@honanbm just tried this without success.

If I was going to try it, I would have the goslings in a pen and let the goose in with them. Be prepared to act quickly in case she rejects them. Observe. If she is going to adopt them, she will crane her neck out while speaking quietly to them in a soft pleading voice.

It’s a tad pricey but worth every penny!! LOL it’s amazing!!! They have some other really great flavors too. Half Baked is super duper amazing too.

It’s so good!!! Not horrible at all lol try half baked while you’re at it or any of their other flavors lol most of them have waaaaaaayyyyy more stuff in it than the cherry one lol
