Why pineapple juice? Can you use a little bit of honey to sweeten the dough? I just ask because honey is used in sweetening so many things. I've never tried to make them before. Is it a recipe that you've seen or are you just winging it?

ETA: I ended up doing a google search for recipes. Huh! Who knew? I would've never thought that pineapple juice was in it. My hubby really likes them so I will buy them every now and again. I prefer more of a buttery instead of sweet roll.

It’s just a random recipe I found online for copycat rolls. I don’t know what the pineapple juice will do but I follow recipe directions because I don’t know how to cook or bake from scratch without some guidance haha

Good luck! Let us know how they turn out, please.

I sure will! I may make them later this week. Gotta clean my kitchen first. Been neglecting it 😬😱

Do they have pineapple juice in? I'll bet any light-colored, fairly neutral juice would be very similar.

I don’t have any juice at all 🤣 so either way I’d have to go to the store to get it. Well my husband goes now not me. I love pineapple so I’m happy to use pineapple juice 😃 🍍

I hear ya! I follow recipes too. I'm not one that can just throw stuff together. My mom could. That gene did not pass down to me lol.

Guys, approximately how much posts in a day we are doing? i'd like to know if i have a chance of win! :D
It has varied lately from as low as 4700 to as high as nearly 6100 posts per day. Since April 14, 2020 4:46 PM ET until last night at 10 PM ET there have been a total of 183,466 new posts. This averages out to 218 posts per hour or 5232 posts per day. When the post count rises higher, the time to the end becomes even shorter than it does by the passage of a day.

I just sloppily figured about 5,500/day and I'm not even sure I got that right. Anyway, it would be a bit much (not to mention embarrassing  ) to win at this again.

I’m debating on selling my 11 week old Australorp pullets along with an Olive Egger-White Leghorn mix pullet. I wanted to keep them but we bought so many pullets already that will all be laying mid summer or so and I figured maybe I’ll just sell these hatched ones. 🤔

Not including the ones already laying I have (all pullets) 6 (11 wk olds), 6 (3-5 week olds), at least 10 (1 week olds), and this is not including a total of 21 straight runs that I gotta see which are female and male. So hmm... (and I just ordered 15 more pullets) 😬

The Australorps will be the last of them since I only have 2 left that are on their 3rd year which I will be eating at the end of the year when they stop laying for the winter. I didn’t buy more Australorps since I got some Jersey Giants. Plus we processed the only Australorp rooster we had because he was a meanie.

I truly need to downsize my flock but I haven't brought myself to do it. We just have more egg layers than we need is all. I love them all and their quirky personalities.
