Yeah, a dog park would freak him out. The lady living across the field from us had a pack of Malamute/Husky crosses. One day she was walking them at the top of the hill. The pom saw them and ran toward them a bit and started barking. Initially, they ignored him. Finally they noticed him and probably thought he looked like a tasty morsel for lunch and they started running his way. He kept barking and then realized they were making a beeline for him. When they got to about 100 feet away, he shot back up onto the porch and into the house like he was shot out of a cannon..
