Also drinking lots of water! It will help flush out the lactic acid that can build up in your muscles and is what causes a lot of soreness. Drink more water than you usually do, and then drink some more. And if you don't like water, drink it any way! I used to HATE drinking water. And I do mean HATE. I drank anything but water. But once you force yourself to start drinking it, your body will actually start to CRAVE it. It will get easier. I promise. My son and I are proof of this. There are powder or liquid add ins to flavor it if that is what it will take to get you started. And you can wean yourself off of how MUCH of it you add in to cut down the sweetness. Or add fresh fruit. I love adding fresh lemon to my water. Flavors it, adds no calories and aids in digestion. It'll help you feel better. :old

No way in hell I'd do 200 squats. Take a walk. Enjoy the weather, whatever it is. Get your 10K steps today and your poor abused legs will get better.

Thank you both!!! I’ll try this!! I don’t drink nearly enough water normally so I’ll be sure to. I’m also gonna drink some green tea this morning. I was drinking a lot for a while but lately I’ve been drinking black cause it’s stronger and I like the pumpkin flavor 😂🤣🙈 but I’ll go back to green with some lemon and honey or do both. Also gonna be sure to eat lots of fruits and vegetables today too. I’m bad about that.

ETA: oh forgot to say, think I will also walk down to the pond today and see the ducks.

I used to not like drinking water, but now it's pretty much the only thing that I drink, except for the occasional hot cocoa. It's refreshing and delicious -- I don't add anything in and just drink it filtered, from the fridge.
I don't like soda as much anymore because it's painfully fizzy unless you shake and defizz it... milk I don't drink very often, though I do use it for hot cocoa and cereal.

I would think that gets the point across more than No More Guesses 😂 but that’s just me.

I love hot chocolate. I once drank so much hot chocolate it was giving me chest pains. I don’t drink coffee or anything with caffeine and I forgot Hot Chocolate has caffeine and well it made me realize I shouldn’t drink that much hot chocolate. (I think I was drinking 2 cups a day for a total of maybe 5 days).

I especially like it with some mint extract....
I just make the stuff at home, by this point -- unsweetened cocoa powder, some sweetener packets, some milk and water, and whatever extract catches my eye.
I've found that using the Dutch processed cocoa powder gives it a... unique flavor that is quite delicious, in my mind. It also makes a lovely, deep brown hot cocoa -- beautiful color.

I need to buy some mint extract and try that out. I love mint.
