Fruitcake is a much maligned food. Personally, I like a good fruitcake. Unfortunately it is really hard to find a good fruitcake recipe.

Fresh cherries come in a vast variety of flavors from the delicious Bings and outstanding Queen Annes to the bitter chokecherries and the tart pie cherries. I make an absolutely awesome Cherry Jam from tart cherries.

Lemon blueberry for me. My absolute favorite.

The lemon would add a nice touch especially if you grated in a little lemon zest. Blueberry muffins without the lemon zest just aren't right.

I was looking at bbq sauce yesterday and a lot had it. I got sweet baby rays because that’s the only vegan one I could find at Walmart. I’ll get a better one for myself when I go out again. Need to go to whole foods

I have an awesome recipe for Carolina style if you want it. It does have a butter finisher, but you could sub it!

Yes please... I love recipes. I always tweak them if they have something I don’t eat. It’s not hard to sub stuff

Our mailbox is three miles from the house. I've been known to walk or bike, but it's inconvenient... often there are packages. Awkward to carry either way, though not usually heavy.

I have a new favorite BBQ sauce that I found at Walmart. It is a "Sweet Georgia Heat". I find myself gravitate towards a sweet and spicy type of BBQ sauce. I do like a tangy kind every now and again.
