But i have a question.. if i break her, could she be traumatized and not go broody again? :sick:sick
 
Highly unlikely. I used to have a broody machine. I would break her. She would lay two eggs and be right back in broody mode.
That was how my Austra White, Daisy, was last year! Omgosh it was so frustrating! Ever since she was like 6 months old :barnie This year she's been broody once so far. She is thinking about joining Violet again. She hasn't fully decided yet. My bet is on Yes, she will. :he
 
A Silkie? Not go broody? No chance! They are known for being broody and excellent mommas.

Unfortunately I lost my broody machine to a coon when she was six. I did get my revenge. If I still had her, she would be sitting on guinea eggs right now.
