If you have the "I hate raw tomatoes" gene, it will not make any difference. If you just didn't like it because it tasted like a flavorless piece of soft plastic, a homegrown tomato fresh out of the garden is awesome. Never, I repeat, never pick a homegrown tomato and put it in the refrigerator.
I’ll remember that. I eat salsa and such all the time it’s just raw tomatoes at the grocery store taste like dirty chemicals to me. If I still hate them I’ll make salsa, diced tomatoes, and sauce with them. My husband eats them right out of the garden.

That's because they are dirty chemicals.

People that have the "I hate fresh tomatoes" gene very frequently like processed tomatoes such as salsa, catsup, spaghetti sauce, etc.
